This review will be on another shade from my Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick collection which I love and enjoy using very much. This one is in the shade Melted Jelly Donut.

My Experience with Too Faced Melted Jelly Donut Liquified Long Wear Lipstick:

Packaging:
Comes in a sleek, squeeze tube packaging with an in-built slanted applicator. I personally love this applicator even though it is prone to being stained after many uses, but it does make the application very easy and precise. The product comes out of the applicator by squeezing the tube, hence you do get out as much as needed, avoiding any wastage. It’s very easy to use, convenient and travel friendly.

Texture/Consistency:
The consistency of this liquid lipstick is neither too thick nor runny. It spread and adheres to the lips evenly and does not go on streaky or patchy.

Shade:
The shade “Melted Jelly Donut” is a bright fuchsia pink. I love this shade a lot due to its ability to brighten up the face. This shade is bright and bold, yet very wearable because it doesn’t have that neon quality to it. It will definitely give you a statement pout.

Pigmentation:
The pigmentation of these Melted lipsticks is truly amazing. They go on fully opaque with just 1 swipe and deliver bright, bold and intense color. It doesn’t need building up.

Finish:
After initial application, the finish has sheen to it, but it is not entirely glossy. The shine tones down as the lipstick sets; in 1-2 hours, it turns into a creamy finish.

Feel on Lips:
These are truly very comfortable to wear lipsticks. They don’t feel too drying not too hydrating. They have the right amount of smoothness which helps it to not cling to dry patches and does not accentuate lines on the lips. The lips color does not feel sticky or slippery. It does not bleed unless I apply a very thick coat which is not even necessary.

Staying Power:
Also, very impressed in this aspect! This bright shade lasts easily on my lips for 7-8 hours with minimal fading. It does survive through snacking and drinking and even a full meal (though you will need a touch up after that). After it fades, it leaves a strong pink tint behind which lingers for another 1-2 hours and which needs removal with a makeup remover at the end of the day.

Overall, if owning 5-6 lipsticks from range isn’t an indication enough, I am highly impressed with this range of Melted lipsticks by Too Faced and will recommend it. I love everything about it and will continue getting more shades in the future.
