It feels so good to finally write again! I know I have been missing in action and now I have got so many new products in my stash. I have been a big fan of liquid lipsticks especially for summers since they do not melt and stay put all day long. I find Too Faced products really cute, so picked up their ‘Melted Matte Liquified Long Wear Matte Lipstick’. Let’s read how ‘Mrs. Roper’ fared for me.

My Experience with Too Faced Melted Matte Liquified Long Wear Matte Lipstick Mrs. Roper:
Packaging:
Most of the brands do not offer such boxes when it comes to liquid lipsticks, but I love how they do. They have the cutest packaging ever, which is why this could be one of the items to give to your girlfriends or add to the bridal trousseau. Mrs Roper’s box is bright orange in colour and it looks apt for summers.
It is a colour-coded box and nicely resembles the colour of the liquid lipstick. The liquid lipstick also has a uniquely-shaped packaging, and since it is a see-through bottle, you can easily differentiate the shades. The cap is a gold one, which makes it look cuter. The wand is a nice stiff one that makes the application perfect and precise. It is handy and made of plastic so no worries if you drop it.
Shade:
‘Mrs Roper’ is a stylish lady who loves to flaunt her confidence and poise. Yes, this is what the colour is all about. It is a super bright orange that gives a bold pop, so it is surely not for the weak-hearted. It is perfect for summers and apt for day and evening wear as well. It would look cute with those floral dresses and your evening LBD as well. But it is not the shade for every skin-tone. It would not look great on skin with yellow undertones and will not suit dusky beauties either.
Pigmentation and Finish:
The pigmentation is amazing and these liquid lipsticks totally cover the pigmentation of the lips as well. It does not appear to be patchy at all. The finish is ultra matte and dries pretty quickly, hence you need to be very quick with the application. It dries in a minute’s time.
Staying Power:
It stays put for a good time – i.e. until you remove it or for more than 7-8 hours. It does not smudge or budge at all. But oily food can hinder it and remove bits of this liquid lipstick. You also need a good makeup remover to remove this completely.

Cons of Too Faced Melted Matte Liquified Long Wear Matte Lipstick Mrs. Roper:
• Not easily available in India
• Gives a drying feeling (just listed it, that is the matter with every liquid lipstick)
• Will not suit all the skin-tones
• Expensive as compared to other brands
• You need a good waterproof makeup remover to remove this
• Oily food does make it a bit patchy

Will I Repurchase/Recommend Too Faced Melted Matte Liquified Long Wear Matte Lipstick Mrs. Roper?
My answer would be ‘yes’ and ‘no’ both. Yes, would be because it has amazing quality and probably more than 25 shades to choose from. If you love that cuteness when it comes to packaging then grab it. But on the other hand, we have good brands like Chambor and Sugar Cosmetics that make liquid lipsticks at a lower price and the quality is as good as this one.
Conclusion:
‘Bend and Snap‘ is my favourite from the range, so get it as it is a very pretty magenta berry colour, perfect for Indian skin-tones. Got many more in my stash, shall review them soon.
