Hope all of you are doing great! I am back again with another lip smacking hot red shade from Too Faced which is one of my most loved color and lipstick as well from this range. I personally adore this brand for some fantastic array of products which are mostly hit for me leaving a few exceptions. And this Rebel Heart is no exception in their hit list as I love it to core for its smooth soft matte finish apart from vibrant red pigmentation. My Experience with Too Faced Rebel Heart La Matte Color Drenched Matte Lipstick:
The lipstick comes in similar black golden bullet packaging with tight shut-cap; it has a mild citrus flavor but nothing major concerning. I just feel so lost while picking my desired shade among these black bullets though. Overall I totally adore its user friendly and travel friendly packaging.
My shade “Rebel Heart” is defined as matte cool red which comes up true to its description on my skin tone. I find it perfect for fair/light and wheatish skin toned beauties with pink-neutral undertones considering it works well for my pale skin tone as well. I love how it imparts light-weight yet intense vibrant red pigmentation on lips in just 1-2 swipes. I do have mild black patches on my lips and it completely conceals them, maintaining subtle translucency and subtle sheen on lips throughout.
Coming over to its texture, it slightly tugs while applying on lips but it still imparts saturated and smooth finish on my normal/dry lips, not to forget the importance of scrubbing and hydrating lips prior of wearing matte lipstick. Although this is a comfortable matte formula still we cannot deny its tendency to cling to dry patches after an hour or so. However, I have worn it for more than 5 hours during day and evening and it never emphasized dryness or settled in lip lines so far. I didn’t find it hydrating either but it is certainly not drying for my normal/dry lips. It does seem tricky for dry parched lips though.
Moreover, I am pretty impressed by its 5-6 hours of wear time on my lips with no lip liner and/or primer; in fact it manages to stay (with mild fading) with light snacks and might need re-application or touch ups after heavy meals. It does leave a faint red sheen on lips which looks pretty fine as it is. Overall I am impressed by this shade and would consider it again while I would recommend it to every beauty including gals with pigmented lips; even beauties with dry lips might like wearing it during summers with a lip primer or lip balm beneath.

• A vibrant comfortable matte red lipstick
• Glides easily on normal dry lips with slight tugging.
• Imparts nearly full coverage with bit translucent finish.
• Delivers smooth saturated and intense pigmented finish in 1-2 swipes.
• Feels light-weight and non-cakey, non-feathering on lips.
• Does not sit in lip lines or emphasize them.
• Conceals dark pigmented lips up to good extent.
• Neither hydrating nor over-drying for my lips.
• Stays put for good 5+ hours with no lip liner and/or primer.
• Quite user friendly and travel friendly product.
Cons of Too Faced Rebel Heart La Matte Color Drenched Matte Lipstick:
• Not ideal formula for dry parched lips
• It does tug a bit while swiping on lips
• Does require well scrubbing and hydrating session
• It may emphasize dry lips and lip lines after hours of wear time
Honestly I am least bothered about these minor concerns, I will rate it 4.7/5!
