My Experience with Too Faced Semi-sweet Chocolate Bar Eyeshadow Collection:

This pallete is a hit and miss for me. It has a variety of eye shadows and I feel the pigmentation on them is not consistent, the darker colors being more pigmented and the lighter ones, lacking them. There are couple of shimmery shades which have a lot of fall out and no color. These shadows are not as creamy buttery and soft as let’s say Lorac eye shadows on the contrary they are powdery but they are not chalky. I find that these powdery texture of shades makes the shadows highly blend-able which is true for these shadows too.

I absolutely love the packaging which mimics a chocolate bar and the absolutely delicious chocolate scent of these shadows which will get any chocolate lover like me, in a good mood. The tin container closes securely and has a good-sized mirror inside.

It has 16 shadows in total. Below I will give you the breakdown of shades and how they perform.

Licorice: A matte black shade which is an absolute-must in any eye shadow pallet. Pigmentation is poor on this shade. It definitely needs to be built up.

Coconut Crème: A matte off-white. Pigmentation is poor on this too. It absolutely does not give much color and also feels a bit chalky.
Nougat: A matte dusty pink shade. Pigmentation, also poor on this. It doesn’t really show up on my skin unless built up in layers. It can work as a good medium for blending out harsh lines of darker colors.
Truffled: A matte neutral brown. Pigmentation on this is good. It will work great as a crease shade.
Hot Fudge: A deep matte brown-black. It has little shimmer which is not apparent when applied on the eyes. Looks great as an outer-v shade.
Cocoa Chilli: A shimmery medium brown with lots of gold shimmer. This has a lot of fall out.
Pink Sugar: A light baby pink with lots and lots of pink and silver shimmer. It doesn’t give much color but gives a lot of shimmer only. It gives a lot of fall out and this is my least favorite shade in the whole palette.
Puddin: A nice matte cool-toned taupe. Pigmentation is average -good. It works great as a crease shade.

Blueberry Swirl:I was the most excited when I say this shade but unfortunately pigmentation on this is poor- average. It a beautiful teal with slight shimmer, metallic finish It definitely needs building up oryou can use is use a fixing spray or eye drops to wet your brush and then this will work great as an all-over lid shade.
Peanut Butter: My favorite shade is the whole palette. It is the most pigmented. It is a warm toned orange brown. I love using this as a transition shade. I love love this shade.
Frosting: This is a shimmer-metallic finish brown bronze. Pigmetation is good. Even though it is shimmery it doesn’t give much fallout.
Run Raisin: A nice shimmery metallic finish brown with hint of purple undertone. Pigmentation is average.
Mouse: A matte soft brown. Pigmentation is good. A good medium to blend out other shades or as a crease shade.
Caramel: A metallic shimmery finishes very warm coppery orange gold. Another one of my top favorites. Looks good as an all over lid shade.
Bon Bon: My next favorite. A metallic finish pinkish copper which is also very warm toned. Looks good as an all over lid shade.
Butter pecan: A light golden cream shade with metallic finish. Pigmentation is not that strong which makes it a good brow bone highlight. This is one of the bigger shades in the palette, which I don’t think makes sense. They should have made this shade a regular size and put a different shade instead.
