Top 10 Homemade Hair Treatments for Hairfall
This post goes out to everyone who is on the verge of tears everyday after brushing the hair.Yes it happens to me, hence I am compiling this list of 10 homemade quick hair treatments you can surely do on your weekends, these would cost one-third of your vitamin supplements and also your hair mask tub. These will surely work in some time and I am already noticing visible difference in my hair fall which I have been facing ever since pregnancy.

I will not be talking about the causes here, which can be internal, a result of medicines, or motherhood. I will be talking about quick homemade tricks that can control hairfall without any side effects.
Castor and almond oil:
Mix them together and wrap a hot towel or steam your hair with your facial suana like I do. Let the oils seep into the hair roots. Do this every week, without fail till you see results.

Fenugreek seeds:
This is a popular trick, soak and make a paste of methi seeds. These need to be applied on the scalp for a month.the results are amazing as fenugreek contains hormone antecedents which aid hair growth and help rebuild hair follicles.
Honey Conditioner
Beat 1-2 eggs and add 1 spoon honey and 2 spoons of olive oil. Massage gently into the scalp. Steam like mentioned above and shampoo after an hour.
Carrot Juice
Extract carrot juice and apply this on the scalp after cooling it down in the fridge. Beta carotene will strengthen hair follicles and strands.
Avocado
These days you get avocados easily in India, in the gourmet stores or otherwise. Mash an avocado and use the pulp on the scalp, to soften hair and strengthen follicles.
Aloe Vera
This owes credit to my domestic help. She planted an aloe vera plant for me in my balcony recently. She has suggested that use of the gel from the aloe leaf on the scalp has helped her daughter with hair fall caused due to the regular tap water usage for hair wash. The aloe gel from the leaf can be left on the hair for 30 minutes before being washed off.
Egg whites, coconut oil and honey:
Use half a cup of coconut oil, 1-2 egg whites and add honey to make it a hair conditioner-like paste. Love this one, what a potent mix this is! Use this on scalp and the hair strands from root to tip, and leave on for an hour before washing off.Once a week is good.
Coconut milk:
Use naturally freshly squeezed out coconut milk from grind coconut and apply it on the scalp for half an hour.Do this once a week.
Amla and lemon
Use gooseberry pulp with few drops of lemon juice. Use this on the scalp and cover with a shower cap.You can leave it overnight or if you have a sensitive scalp or dandruff, use it for an hour and wash off.
Oil mix:
Use 3-4 oils like almond, mustard, lavender and olive in equal proportions to massage the scalp, steam and wash off.Do this for a month.
