Living in one of the most fashion conscious cities where no one steps out of their houses without applying at least two layers of makeup, has made me learn a few things about makeup by sheer observation. I have been a spectator of many makeup looks and the lipstick for me has always stood out of the whole face for some reason.  So, I thought of compiling a list of the top 6 Lipstick shades for this season, which might help you create a whole new outfit altogether and let’s not forget – give you a very polished look.

1. Christian Dior Rouge Dior Pied de Poule:  This limited edition, wine red lipstick on your lips is sure to turn some heads around as you walk through the city. It has blue undertones, which is sure to give you a polished and sophisticated look this season. I love how deep and rich this shade is and Dior is known for its velvety smooth formula, which would leave your lips feeling nourished and moisturised during the cold season while making you look like a sensuous diva. 5. Tom Ford Bruised Plum:  As I speak about fall, how can I forget the lip colour MOST apt for this fall season. I have seen women flaunting dark lips already on the trains and around the city. And I just have to include this pretty colour into my list.  It’s last but definitely cannot be counted as the least. To put it simply, this is a beautiful deep oxblood colour on your lips and it shouts “WINTER” in BIG BOLD capital letters. This deeply-pigmented colour is just perfect to sum up your winter outfit and put it together. Wear it during the day, with a black leather skirt, embroidered jumper and biker boots, and you will be a fashion symbol by yourself.
