10 Treatments for Oily Face

1. Clay Based Products:

Clay-based cleansing materials are good for removing the toxins from your oily face. They open up the pores and clear out the toxins inside them. Also, the facial oil is removed with clay-based products. They maintain the pH level of the skin and help in controlling breakouts.

2. Egg White:

Egg white helps in toning the skin and gives a cooling feeling to the skin. It also helps in reducing the facial oil from the skin. Just apply egg white directly on your face and let it rest for a good 10-15 minutes. And post that, wash your face with normal water.

Oatmeal helps to calm the inflamed skin. They help in controlling breakouts and acne. Oatmeal also helps in reducing the facial oil and thus, helps in toning the skin. Just take a handful of oatmeal and ground them finely. Now, add honey to the grounded oatmeal and apply on your skin directly.

4. Reduce Toner Usage:

For oily and acne prone skin, toner usage should be reduced. Toner should be used only 1-2 times a week. And if the toner has astringent content, then it should be replaced with an organic or gentle toner. Toner can reduce acne marks and inflammation on the skin.

5. Use a Retinoid Product:

A retinoid product which is rich in vitamin A should be used here. This will help in controlling facial oil and will tighten and tone your skin. Also, creams which are rich in retinoid will help in treating your oily face.

6. Use Mattifying Products:

Use makeup products which target on mattifying the skin. Use products which have oil controlling features. This will be good for reducing the oil production on your face and thus, will work perfectly for an oily face.

7. Tomatoes:

Cut a tomato into halves and then rub the tomato slice all over your face. This will not only promote blood circulation but will also bring a beautiful rosy glow on your cheeks.

Lemon juice helps in maintaining the pH level of the skin. It controls the oil production and thus, helps to mattify the oily skin. It also works in drying out the skin. So, make sure that you don’t go overboard with lemon juice, else it might cause too much of drying on your face.

9. Almonds:

For the oily face, there are very few chemical exfoliators which do the job properly. So, what you can do is that use natural exfoliators like almonds. Crush almonds very finely and then add some drops of honey into it and use it directly.

10. Apple Cider Vinegar:

Use apple cider vinegar on your face but it is extremely strong. Take a bowl full of gulab jal or simple water and add some drops of apple cider vinegar to it. And then, apply it all over your face with cotton.
