I slather my entire body with moisturizer and body oil as soon as I step out of shower. I moisturize my skin using a combination of body oil and body butter or a moisturizer and especially after I use an epilator to remove hair from my legs and arms. This extra step keeps my skin smooth and soft throughout the day. Like I mentioned before, this ritual has, over the years made my skin suppler and has added a shine to it.It is not as amazing as models flaunt and there is still some room to improve. Hence, I keep trying different body lotions and butters.

My Experience with Tree Hut Coconut Lime Shea Moisturizing Body Lotion:
This product comes in a big tube – the kind which is common for body lotions. It has a flip open lid and dispenses product when squeezed. It has a texture of a usual body lotion – it is neither too runny nor too thick like a body butter. It is white in color and smells of coconut and lime.
It claims to contain Certified Organic Shea Butter which I am hopeful is true because, it does make my skin smooth. Shea Butter softens, smooths, and helps strengthen skin. It contains coconut extract which naturally contains the necessary proteins for tissue repair, keeping skin healthy and rejuvenated. It also contains lime extract which helps to tighten pores and reduces oil production for a brighter complexion. Naturally occurring citric acid also polishes skin by removing dead skin cells. It also contains Safflower Seed Oil which has anti-inflammatory properties. It also prevents dryness and hydrates to provide healthy glow, while promoting elasticity.
The fragrance of this products is very pleasing but very subtle and does not last long. I like the rose variant more than the one in this post. I use it right after I epilate my legs. I massage a generous amount of this lotion mixed with massage oil. I also use it in copious amounts after using a body scrub or after a scalding hot water shower. This makes my skin smoother, prevents hair stubbles or bruises.
I enjoy this product a lot because it contains goodness of several natural products. It contains Shea butter, coconut oil and lime extract which help increase skin’s elasticity and balances skin to help ease inflammation and improve skin’s texture. I wish the fragrance was stronger and long-lasting.

It is an affordable body lotion which performs well. It comes in a generous quantity, adds moisture to skin and makes it smoother. I enjoy using this body lotion every day after a hot shower and I recommend it to others as well, especially those who have skin issues like me.
