I use an epilator to remove hair from my legs and arms. Even though it is more time consuming and painful, it gives long-lasting result and less brutal to my skin. Razor gives me a terrible burn especially on my thighs. My legs skin also suffers from “strawberry” appearance from hair removal. Hence to make my skin smother and hair removal process less painful and efficient, I have some tricks up my selves which remedy the problems to a certain extent. I bought this body scrub from my local Ulta store and so far I am loving it.
Love your skin with Tree Hut Moroccan Rose Shea Sugar Scrub. This sugar based formula is kissed with Argan Oil, Rose and Certified Organic Shea Butter to instantly smooth skin while satisfying your senses.
My Experience with Tree Hut Moroccan Rose Shea Sugar Scrub:
This product comes a big tub – the kind which is common for body scrubs. It has a screw on lid and the tub has a wide mouth to scoop out product while in shower. To touch, it feels like sugar mixed homogeneously in a gelatin like emulsion. It is rose pink in color and smells of roses which is amazing.
It claims to contain Argan Oil, Rose and Certified Organic Shea Butter, which I am hopeful are true because it does make my skin smooth. It mostly contains sugar and glycerin with goodness of other essential and beneficial extracts, oils and butters. It does contain silica which gives it a slippery texture and makes it easier to apply on skin and massage, which is a big drawback of homemade scrubs.
The fragrance of this product is very pleasing and is a huge selling point of this product. I use it right before I epilate my legs. I massage a generous amount of this scrub while mixing it with burning hot water (I prefer scalding hot water for my shower). I do the scrubbing for good few minutes to open my pores and wash it off with burning hot water again. This makes my hair softer and easier to remove. This also makes my skin smoother, prevents hair stubbles or bruises.
It contains Shea butter which moisturizes skin, Moroccan (Argan) Oil which helps increase skin’s elasticity and balances skin to help ease inflammation and Rose Hip Oil improves skin’s texture. Apart from this, it contains goodness of safflower seed oil, evening primrose oil, avocado oil, orange oil and macadamia seed oil.
