I have been using Tresemme hair care products for a couple of years now *haanji* , no doubt that they make some of the most amazing *happy dance* and affordable products, but I had my hits and misses *cry* with a couple of them. Today, I would be reviewing a leave in conditioner for colored hair from Tresemme.

Product Description:

An exciting new system that helps block your colour from fading, allowing you to retain your colour up to 5 times longer! Convenient easy spray locks in your colour daily keeping your unique hair color bright and vibrant.

How To Use:

Protect hair colour daily by generously spraying Daily Color Lock In Spray through towel dried hair, thoroughly covering all hair. Do not rinse. Style as usual. For best results, apply daily color lock in spray after hair coloring and leave it overnight before first shampoo. Avoid contact with eyes.

Packaging:

The packaging is nothing fancy, it’s a basic plastic spray bottle that comes in a plastic box but as the box was taking too much space, I threw it away *rofl* I haven’t noticed any leakage from it till now and it’s pretty sturdy.

My Experience with TRESemme Color Thrive Daily Color Lock in Spray:

I love to take care of my skin and hair and maybe because of that, I was not too much into makeup.  But after reading reviews and knowing about such amazing products around me, I have started to take interest in makeup as well *happydance* *hihi* I truly believe that good skin and hair needs attention and TLC, so I was pretty satisfied with the way my skin and hair looked and never felt the need to mask them with makeup, as taking care of them from the beginning is half the battle won *haanji* I make sure to apply oil once a week and deep condition every 2 weeks as I have colored my hair and they tend to get dry and straw like when I feel too lazy to take care of them *cry* I keep on looking for products that can give back or retain the shine and gloss, so when my brother went on a business trip, I had a few things on my list, but this one, he got for me on his own! How thoughtful *hihi*

I was so glad to see the label and the description seemed like a dream product, I could hardly wait to use it. As you can see, it is a black shimmery plastic bottle with spray mechanism, through which it sprays fine mist. The product has a very nice yet mild floral scent which is not annoying.  The spray is of pale milky colour or highly watered down milk *hihi* Now, coming to the real test of its claims, it fails miserably *smack* I cannot comment on the color locking part as I have not seen any results till now, having used it for two months.  It starts to build up and make the hair sticky by the second day, so you have to shampoo on the third day or the hair would become flat.  I like the smell as it freshens up hair and this one could also be used as a detangling spray, but other than that, it falls short of all its claims.

Pros of TRESemme Color Thrive Daily Color Lock in Spray:

• Convenient spray bottle.
• Nice smell.
• Cruelty free.

Cons of TRESemme Color Thrive Daily Color Lock in Spray:

• Colour lock claims are not true.
• Makes hair sticky after 2-3 uses.
• Not available in India (do we really need such loser products *rofl* )
• Loads and loads of chemicals.

Would I Repurchase/Recommend TRESemme Color Thrive Daily Color Lock in Spray?

No, you can seriously skip this one. Instead you can get a lot of better products like the Paul Mitchell Awapuhi Mist that I have previously reviewed.
