Tria is a well known brand for creating laser tool that can be used at home. They create very simple machines that are very effective and easy to use for anyone. They are very safe as well. Today, the tool that I will be reviewing from tria is “Hair Removal Laser Precision”, which is meant to be used on face or sensitive areas of the skin.

Using professional-strength diode laser technology, this innovative treatment targets pigment in hair’s follicles, which causes the hair to fall out and the follicle to be ‘switched off’. With continued use – the follicle is totally disabled which means that hair no longer grows – leaving small, sensitive areas (like face, bikini line or underarms) ever smooth and ready to bare. In clinical studies, the device has shown a 70% reduction in hair re-growth after just 2 treatments and after 3 months, the majority of follicles have been deactivated so that only rare touch-ups are necessary. Please be aware that the device will NOT work if you hair is grey, blonde or red and that it is not suitable with those for darker skin tones. It is designed to work on fair to light brown skin tones and light brown to black hair.

Packaging: There are two colours that are offered in the precision model, white and pink. I went with pink. The tool is quite handy and is slightly weighted. There is an opening on the top from where laser emits. There is a button on the body with three lights, indicating the level of treatment. The name of the brand is printed on the body itself.

My Experience with Tria Hair Removal Laser Precision:

I have hair growth on my chin and neck and this has been my saviour. Tria hair removal laser precision is the newest model offered by tria and is quite handy and travel-friendly. It comes with a charger and it is an one time investment. If you are tired of hair growth and have gone through various laser treatment and didn’t get results, I would highly recommend this. The only draw back is that it won’t work on deep skin tones.

The concept of this portable laser machine is that it can differentiate between the hair colour and the skin tone. The machine is really simple to use. All you have to do is press the button to switch on and as soon as it is on, just press the laser part to your skin which will detect weather it is perfect for your skin tone or not. As soon as it finds out that it can go with your skin tone, its going to start automatically.

Then, you can set the intensity of the treatment. One is the safest and lightest and this should be proceeded initially. Second and third are powerful treatment and is for people who have gone through level 1 and can tolerate slight pain of level 2 or 3.

It is advised to use once every 2 weeks, but I have been using it once in every week for last 2 months. But before starting with the treatment, you have to prep your skin by shaving the area you are going to treat. Clean the area and then, proceed with the treatment.

After unlocking the device, just lie flat the laser tip on the area you want to treat and hold it till you hear beep sound. Once you hear beep, lift and move to next area of the skin overlaying the previous one. Cover the entire area you want to treat. It might feel a little tingly and also might get red, but it will get normal in an hour or so.

After using for every once in a week for 2 months, my hair growth has become thinner and softer and there is 60% less growth than previous. Another drawback with this is that, since the laser area is small, it is taking more time on larger areas of skin.
