Trichup Herbal Shampoo Review

Hi everyone.   Hope you liked the review of trichup oil.Dhanu asked me for shampoo review so I am doing it for now.

Actually I haven’t purchased this shampoo, but I have received this for free with the Trichup oil I purchased long back. They gave me a small 50ml shampoo bottle, which is quite handy. The ones which are available in the market are 100ml and 200ml bottles. This can be used in combination with the trichup hair oil. You can get more information of trichup hair oil at

Trichup herbal shampoo(50ml)

My experience on the shampoo:
The shampoo is very mild and has aloe vera in it. After applying trichup oil, which is very sticky and using such a mild shampoo is a big no no!! ..Because even after washing the hair with shampoo, the hair wasn’t so clean. It’s better to use some other herbal shampoo after applying this oil.

The quantity of shampoo that we apply is more, as in this case as the shampoo is too mild. I have finished half of the bottle for the first use only. The only good thing about the shampoo is that it is herbal and it doesn’t have any harmful chemicals. For the people who have very sensitive, hair and hair roots they can use it as it is very mild. If we use this shampoo without oiling the hair then I found great results as it made my hair silky and soft. It’s safe to use it on colour hair or permed hair too.

Advantages of Trichup herbal shampoo:

  • The shampoo is very mild.
  • I really love the fragrance of the shampoo.
  • The shampoo is good if you use it when your hair is not oiled.
  • If you have a problem of itchy scalp for dry scalp it works best for you.
  • No harmful chemicals.
  • No side effects as it is completely herbal, there is no danger of losing your hair.
  • It can be used for coloured hair and its safe..
  • Rich protein shampoo which helps in strengthening hair.

Disadvantages of trichup Herbal shampoo:

The expectations for the shampoo were high after I used the oil, but it’s disappointing as this product is not so great.

  • We can’t use it on oiled hair as its not effective removing complete oil from hair.
  • The shampoo claims it to use it with trichup oil, but both of them don’t work with each other.
  • We end up using half the bottle as it is so mild that it doesn’t clean your hair properly. 100ml bottle would run for about max 5-6 times only.

You can check for more products in Trichup, you can even purchase online.

The verdict:
Overall, the product is not so impressive.
Will I recommend the product or purchase it again?

    1. Hey I can see this having ALES, less dangerous than SLES….. I m actully planning to stop using all shampoos and start using shikakai….

  1. :thanks: for reviewing this Arpitha!
I guess this can be used when one’s in a hurry and doesn’t have time to oil hair…
But i’m scared doing that as it makes my hair frizzy.

  2. phwew….I need to take care of my hair more….I am so tired with my hair….unmanageable :((
    Nice review Arpitha

  3. Hello Arpita,
I received the Trichup hair oil + 200 ml of the shampoo a couple of weeks back. As of now am just using the sample sachet of their hair oil and regularly their shampoo. I never dared to look for the ingredients in detail but it worked well for my hair. I usually apply oil over night and just last night i had applied castor oil and shampooed with Trichup shampoo….it warded off the dirt (holi colors + greasy oil) from the hair. I am quite happy with the shampoo now. Have reduced the hairfall a bit….probably coz of the hair oil also..not sure.
 Between, the shampoo bottle looks entirely different from the one you have posted in here. mine looks similar packing as of the oil….so probably could they have been different shampoos. And the shampoo also looks milky white with protein mix.
