Packaging:

The face wash comes in a small, lightweight, plastic bottle and the paper label on it lists the product features, ingredients, etc. It has a plastic cap on top, which I had to pierce before using. The packaging is very simple but nice.

This is the quantity I was left with after about 45 days of using it.

My Verdict on Tvam Tango Orange and Bergamot Face Wash:

The first thing I loved about this face wash was the amazing citrusy/ orange fragrance it has. In fact, it smells exactly like my Forest Essentials Narangi and nagkesar ubtan, very refreshing !!! If you are fond of citrus fragrances, you will like this a lot too.

The face wash comes in an amber-coloured gel form, is neither too thick nor too runny. I take just the amount I have shown in the swatch picture and it lathers up well. The face wash cleans my face well, but initially (within first 2 weeks), I got a stretchy feel post washing. The face wash is made up of natural ingredients and feels very gentle on the face. Every time I check the ingredients list printed on the label, it pleases me.

It is apt for combination to oily skin type as a mild daily cleanser/face wash. However, I doubt if this would work on treating your acne/breakouts.

Overall, I like the face wash for my slightly oily skin and it does a pretty decent cleaning job on my face. I was a little disappointed at the 100 ml quantity I got for 220 bucks (I get my Liquid Neutrogena for the same price and more quantity), but since the bottle lasted for about 2 months, so no complaints.

Summing its pros and cons.

Pros:

• Very refreshing citrus/orange fragrance which I like a lot.
• Is gentle, mild, good for sensitive skin type.
• Contains natural ingredients.
• Suitable for combination-oily skin.
• Small bottle, very travel friendly.
• One bottle lasts for about 2 months.

Cons:

• I doubt this would be effective on acne/breakouts.
• Being very mild, does not remove makeup effectively
• The quantity offered is less for the price in my opinion.
• I haven’t seen this brand around the stores here, so you need to shop for it online.

Okay, here is something I wanted to share with all of you.

A few days back, I reviewed the scrub from the same brand Tvam. In case you missed checking it, see here. In my review, I mentioned how I felt a little disappointed as the scrub jar I received was not filled to the top and the manufacturing date was of 2009. When the website’s owner Meghna learnt about it, she made a lot of effort and reported this issue to the brand. The company looked into the matter and sent me a replacement of the product without any extra charge. I am really impressed with the website’s customer service now. Here’s the scrub which I have received now.
