Two Way Nail Art Pen and Brush Review

Two way Nail Art Pen and Brush Review

I am not much into nail art but sometimes my creative side does come out. I saw these nail art pens at a local cosmetic store,a girl was trying it on her nails, for a second I thought it was a normal pen only, but when the shopkeeper told me it’s a Nail Art Pen,I just really wanted to try one.I did not want to get the blue one but my sister was cribbing for it so we got the blue one. The one thing that disappointed me was that it didn’t come in any good brands .The shopkeeper told me they were all ‘made-in-china’ and there went my expectations in the dustbin. Still,it was just for 20 bucks so I decided to give it a try

nail art pen

Price : 20 INR

Colours Available : I don’t know about all the colours but there is white, black, yellow, red, green. Almost all the bright colours.

nail art pen

It has two methods of application, you can either use it as a normal brush or a pen .If you take the top cap out you get the pen needle and if you take the second cap out,you get a thin brush
This is how the pen part looks like

You just have to use it like a pen, press it when you want the nail paint to flow through it and draw anything you want,it would take a little practice to use it but once you do it would be really fun to use it

The brush looks like this

Its so thin,it is great in making those short precise lines on nails, also I am thinking to get a white one,it would be ideal for a French manicure .Though I did not quite like the quality of the brush. Well,I didn’t even expect much from this brush,I mean how much can you ask for in 20 bucks !

Pros of Two way Nail Art Pen and Brush

  • The pen makes it so easy to draw designs on nails.
  • It s available in most of the bright colours
  • The thin brush can be used to make fine lines very neatly
  • It is very cheap
  • Easily available at almost all the local cosmetic stores

Cons of Two way Nail Art Pen and Brush

  • Sometimes you have to press the pen pretty hard to get the nailpolish out
  • The pen even spills sometime (did you notice my fingers getting all blue-y in the pics above?)
  • The quality of the brush is not that good
  • Also,I did not quite like the quality of the nail polish, you have to use a transparent coat of nail polish over any design you make to ensure it lasts long

My verdict : I think it’s a nice new thing other than our normal nail polishes,it’s a handy tool when we want to get all crazy with nails. I am sure picking up a few more colours next time. Yeah,I agree the quality is not that good, but I think with that kind of price, you can’t expect much

IMBB RATING- :-* :-*(for the pen) + :-*(for the cheap price)

I’ve done it a couple of times, but since I do dishes myself, my nails keep on breaking and in all daily chores my nail paint looks luta pita hua :(( :(( …so I stick to just a simply transparent coat from my french manicure kit!! 😐 😐 😐 😐
