Ubtan is a form of paste that is applied as a face mask all over the face and body. In the recent times, it is losing its charm as face packs and masks have capitalized the market. Ubtan Recipes For Beautiful Skin

1. Turmeric and Sesame Ubtan for Bright and Clean skin:

Turmeric is by default, an essential ingredient in any ubtan. It helps in skin brightening, removal of tan, fighting acne, removing dark spots and scars and gives a glowing spotless skin. Sesame seeds on the other hand, has anti-inflammatory properties, treats wrinkles and acne, arrests dryness, improves blood circulation and helps in renewal of new cells. This ubtan is very easy to make and gives impressive results.
Procedure: Take 1-2 teaspoons of turmeric and 2-3 teaspoons of sesame seeds. Grind them well and form a fine powder out of it. Mix it well in water and form a thick paste. Apply this paste all over face and body and keep it for 15-20 minutes. Wash off with water. You will get clean and bright skin instantly.

2. Turmeric, Sandalwood and Sesame Oil Ubtan for Beautiful glowing Skin:

This recipe also contains turmeric. It contains sesame oil and sandalwood powder as the additional ingredients. The benefits of sesame and turmeric has already illustrated before. Sandalwood is also a wonder ingredient to get flawless skin. It helps in skin brightening, controls excess sebum, reduces pimples and gives beautiful skin.

Flour helps in brightening, tightening and thorough cleansing of the skin. It is a highly powerful and effective ubtan for pampering dull and lifeless skin and restore the natural glow.
Procedure: Take 1 tablespoon each of turmeric powder, gram flour, rice flour, sandalwood powder. Mix them well with rosewater and sesame oil and form a thick paste. Apply it over the skin and keep it for some time. Rinse off with water and experience glowing skin. It really works in refining the complexion.

4. Turmeric, Sandalwood, Rose Water, Milk Ubtan for Glowing Skin:

This is a natural face and body mask and is enriched with bundles of goodness. It has all the right ingredients to pamper your skin before the festive season. Milk helps in skin lightening and removing tough tan. This ubtan should be used occasionally to maintain the skin lustre.
Procedure: take 1 tablespoon of turmeric and sandalwood powder. Mix 2 tablespoons of rose water to it. Form a paste from this by adding milk to the mixture. Apply it on the face and body for instant glowing skin.

5. Oatmeal, Red Lentil Powder, Rice Powder, Almond Powder, Turmeric Ubtan for Baby Soft Skin:

This is a highly effective ubtan that will remove skin tan and get baby soft skin. Oatmeal is the chief ingredient of this recipe. It is not only good for the skin but also for the body. Red Lentil powder helps in cleaning the skin thoroughly. Almond powder is a great skin exfoliator. Overall, the blend of ingredients is superb for Diwali skin treatment.
Procedure: To make this, take 1 tablespoon of crushed oatmeal, red lentil powder, almond powder, rice powder, turmeric in a bowl. Add a few drops of rose water to it and mix the ingredients well with water to form a thick paste. Apply it over the skin. This ubtan should be used until Diwali to get fruitful results.

6. Almonds, Pistachios, Flaxseed, Cashews, Saffron, Orange Peel Ubtan for Radiant Looking Skin:

This powerful ubtan recipe contains different types of nuts like almonds, flaxseeds, pistachios and cashew nuts in it. It is a nutty ubtan and is great for the skin. To make this more effective, red lentil powder and saffron is also added to the recipe. Saffron is a wonder herb for skin brightening and lightening. Along with that, dried orange peel is crushed to form powder and used in this recipe.
Procedure: All the above mentioned ingredients are taken in ½ tablespoon quantity and mixed in a bowl after adding a few drops of rose water to it. Blend the ingredients properly to forma thick paste and apply it gently over your skin. It will make you fall in love with your skin instantly.

7. Gram Flour, Turmeric, Milk Powder and Yoghurt Ubtan for Tan Removal:

This ubtan is targeted to remove skin tan and restore your original skin complexion. Use this ubtan daily before Diwali to get back the lost glow. Yoghurt is good for hydrating and brightening the skin. Milk powder is also used to remove tough tan from the skin. Procedure: Take 1 tablespoon of gram flour, turmeric, milk powder and yoghurt and form a thick paste by mixing the ingredients. You can also add sesame oil to the recipe. Use this on the face and body for desired results.

8. Diwali Ubtan for Dry Skin:

If you have dry skin and want a special recipe of ubtan, then this one is for you. The list of items include 3 tablespoons of gram flour, 1 tablespoon of sandalwood powder, 2 teaspoons of lemon juice, 1 tablespoon honey, 1 tablespoon malai/milk cream and a few drops of rose water.
Procedure: The procedure is same as before. All the ingredients have to be mixed well and a thick paste has to be formed. This will be applied over the body and face. Since this is specially made for dry skin, it will keep your skin nourished and will not highlight dry patches.

9. Diwali Ubtan for Oily Skin:

Next up we have an ubtan recipe for oily skinned people. Use this before your Diwali events. 2 tablespoon sandalwood powder, 1 tablespoon lemon peel powder, 1 tablespoon besan and rosewater is needed for this recipe. This recipe keeps oil under control and helps in cleaning pore areas well.
Procedure: It is same as before. Form a thick paste and apply it on the body. It is a nice skin treatment to experience purify, cleanse and rejuvenate your skin.

10. Diwali Ubtan for Acne-Prone Skin:

If you are suffering from pimple and acne-problems, this ubtan recipe can become your savior for this Diwali. You will need 2-3 tablespoons of lemon juice, 1 tablespoon besan powder, 1 tablespoon sesame powder, tomato juice and rosewater for this ubtan. It will treat your acne problems and will reveal a clearer skin.
Procedure: Mix the ingredients and form a thick paste. Apply it on the affected areas. You may also add some tea-tree oil if there are severe problems. Keep it for some time before rinsing off. Make this daily companion before Diwali celebrations.
