The week has been so hectic for me with a whole lot of things happening simultaneously on both personal and professional fronts, but I couldn’t refrain myself from doing what I like the most and that is writing. So, I am back with another review. This time, I am going to talk about a perfumed body lotion, although, I mainly use it as a hand lotion, it was again a gift from a friend in Paris :toothygrin:

Ugo Vanelli Day After Day Perfumed Body Lotion.

Quantity/Price/Packaging:

I am absolutely clueless about the price. The quantity being offered is 1.02 Fl Oz (30ml). It comes in a translucent beige-colored plastic tube with a silver screw cap. It is such a tiny cute tube, fits any kind of vanity case and travelling bag without taking much space. Also, the screw cap is tight, so no worries of leakage/spillage. However, it would have been better if a nozzle opening was provided as the consistency is quite runny.

Ingredients:

Aqua( Water), Glycerine, Parafinnum Liquidum( Mineral oil) , Propylene Glycol, Stearic Acid, Glyceryl Sterate, Cetyl Alchohol, Dimethicone, Phenoxyethanol, triethanolamine, Parfum( Fragrance), styrene Acrylamide Copolymer, Carbomer, Methylparaben, Ethylparaben, Propyl Paraben,Butyl Paraben, Isobutyl Paraben, Aloe Barbadensis :stars:

My Take on Ugo Vanelli Day After Day Perfumed Body Lotion:

I have been using it for the last one month and I love it :love:, thought I don’t use it daily as the quantity is very less :secret: It is a cream-colored lotion with tiny white-coloured particles in it. This lotion is neither as thick as the usual body lotions nor as runny as water, somewhere in between. This liquid spreads very easily on the hands and gets absorbed within a few second of application (the best part). The hands feel soft and moisturized and absolutely no traces of greasiness. It has a mild fragrance and I am just not able to make out what it is like, it is more on the woody notes that’s all I could figure out.

The fragrance lingers for 30-45 minutes. My skin feels nourished and supple, so I am assuming it would work well for the winters too. The best part is that less is more. Only a pea-sized amount is required for my hands and that is the reason that even after 1 month of use, I still have more than half-a-bottle of lotion left with me.

Pros of Ugo Vanelli Day After Day Perfumed Body Lotion:

1. Very small quantity is enough to provide moisturisation to the hands.
2. It is not greasy and gets absorbed within a few seconds of application.
3. Fragrance is not over the top, shall be liked by most of the people.
4. Packaging is sturdy and thereby very travel friendly.
5. Translucent tube helps to know how much is used.
6. Will work for all skin types :haanji:

Cons of Ugo Vanelli Day After Day Perfumed Body Lotion:

1. Has parabens in ingredients list : pan:
2. It also has alcohol in the ingredients list.
3. A nozzle opening can be substituted in place of the open mouth.
4. Not available in India.

IMBB Rating: 4.25 out of 5 (Apart from parabens and alcohol’s presence in it, all other things are nice about this lotion.)

Will I Buy Again? If I go to Paris, yes I would :toothygrin:
