Winters are here and the change in season got me down with cough and cold. The worst thing about catching a cold is this that you feel miserable but you are still not sick enough to have the luxury of bedrest. You do your daily chores; go to work despite of feeling unwell. Anyways talking of winters, its the season we all love to wear bold dark lips, however nu*e or natural lips never go out of fashion. 😀 So today I am here with the review of a nu*e lip pencil from Ulta for you all. Ulta is a makeup junkie’s shopping paradise, they have lots of brands under one roof and they also have their own makeup line which is sold only in Ulta stores. During my US trip, a visit to Ulta store was on my list and during one such visit I bought this lip pencil as this one was on a big sale that time.

$8 for 0.31gm (I was lucky to get it for just $1 during the big sale 😀 )

Product Claims:

Glide rich, shimmering, waterproof color across your lips with ULTA’s automatic lipliner. The aluminum pencil body is durable, while the applicator is designed to always stay moist and deliver silky, smudgeproof color with every application. This fragrance-free liner combines vitamin E, aloe, and jojoba oils to help soften and moisturize lips. No sharpening is required.

My Experience with Ulta Automatic Lip Liner Flesh:

As the name suggests this lip liner in shade flesh is a pink nu*e shade. I am always a bit hesitant to use pinkish Nu*e shades as I have pigmented lips and if the lip product is not totally opaque then it tends to look dirty on my lips. As this lip pencil is much pigmented it covers my lips totally and hence gives that true pinkish nu*e lips to me which I love to flaunt with bold eye makeup.

It comes in strong aluminium packaging which has the same color as the shade of the lip linee, which makes it very easy to locate. It is retractable so no sharpening is required and hence no product wastage. This lip pencil is very creamy in texture due to which if more force is applied at the time of application, it tends to break easily. It gives a matte texture when applied on lips fully. So make sure you don’t have dry chapped lips else, this matte finish will highlight the lines more. I prefer using a lip balm underneath but if your lips are well hydrated you don’t need to use lipbalm. I sometimes wear this with a clear gloss on top, and this shade looks great that way too. Talking of staying power, it stays for 4-5 hours and does not sustain a meal.

In totality, I love this shade and the formula. The price I got this one for was a total steal. I recommend this to everyone looking for a perfect nu*e lip liner with good pigmentation and staying power. And If you can find it during the sale season, then just pick it, I am sure you wont regret 😛
