ULTA Baked Eye Shadow in Sweet Dreams Review

Hey loves!
Hope everyone is having an amazing time! I know I vanish for a few days and then come back, with hell loads of reviews and then I go missing again, lol, that’s the biggest drawback of being married, you need to take time out for everything that you like. But once I start writing, I just cannot stop and here I am again with a review of another baked eye shadow from ULTA called Sweet Dreams!

eyeshadow pan open

Price: This beautiful baby is priced at $8 for 2.55 g

Product Description:
Formula is baked instead of pressed which makes for an ultra-smooth application. Baked also allows the product to be used wet or dry. When using dry, provides traditional eye shadow color to lids. When using wet, it increases the color payoff for a more dramatic look and it also increases its staying power. Coordinated duo shades take the guesswork out of your application.

My Experience with ULTA Baked Eye Shadow in Sweet Dreams:

Packaging: The packaging is again something that I am not really impressed with, because I like things that are packed beautifully and look good sitting there in my vanity! I know that’s really weird of me, but can’t help! 😛 The colors show through the transparent lid, which is pretty durable!

Color: The colors in the pan are beautiful; on the right side is a gorgeous baby pink shade with shimmer, while the other side has a greenish, pinkish and bluish blend of colors, that is, a marbleized blend! The colors are beautiful. I don’t really use this eye shadow though; I am not really into pinks!!

Color pay-off: The color pay-off is probably the worst part of this particular eye shadow I feel! The other eye shadow Lucky Charm had a way better pigmentation than this one; this one does not show up on the eye as it should and looks more of a highlight shade than an eye shadow! So, in my opinion, this eye shadow can be used to highlight the high points of your face, than being used as an eye color!!

Staying power: Honestly, I didn’t expect much in this category, considering the fact that the other eye shadow Lucky Charm didn’t fare in this department! The staying capacity is really low, but for a drugstore product, we cannot expect miracles!

IMBB Rating: 1/5

Would I Recommend ULTA Baked Eye Shadow in Sweet Dreams?
NOOO!! This is not even worth it. Lucky Charm is worth a go I feel, but this shade is something I would recommend everyone to stay away from!! Don’t waste your money on something that you may never end up using!!

Would I Repurchase ULTA Baked Eye Shadow in Sweet Dreams?
No, I wouldn’t repurchase the ULTA Baked Eye Shadow in this particular shade, because all it has done is disappointed me in every department.

Overall verdict: This eye shadow looks supergorgeous sitting there in the pan; other than that, there is nothing that has managed to impress me!! For an eye shadow, this is the worst I own! However, it works amazingly as a highlighter, but who would go for an eye shadow when you have a range of highlighting shades available in the market?
