My Experience with Ulta Put A Ring On It Glitter Eye Top Coat:

The packaging isn’t sturdy but it isn’t fragile either. You can keep it anywhere you like and even travel with it in your vanity. It won’t break and the product won’t get affected. I do not have much to say about the packaging but they could improve it a bit considering the product costs $8.

“Put A Ring On It” is a gorgeous silver shade with multi-coloured glitters. It can instantly increase the beauty of any eyeshadow. This is glitter based yet is quite pigmented. Considering this is a silver shade, you wouldn’t want too much of the product in one go, and that’s how this product is. You do not end up getting too much product either on your finger or on the brush. You just need to swipe once and then you can dab the glitter on your eyes. Easy like that!

I would not really call it ‘silky cream’ like the brand claims but yes it is not gritty or irritating either. It feels comfortable on the eyes, just like any other eyeshadow. It is really lightweight. Plus, I need not really use an extra glue to keep it in place. It works better on cream-based products than powder-based products in my opinion. The glitter stays in place for around 5-6 hours easily on creamy eyeshadows and does not mess around my face.

One look at the packaging and you can guess how much this falls out. But, surprisingly, it does not fall out as much once on the skin. It is quite easy to work; you can apply it when in hurry and even beginners can apply it easily. Plus, the glitter doesn’t interfere or affect the quality of the eyeshadows at all. They stay put and look the same – no fading and no transferring.

The only concern I have here is that I am not sure whether this is good enough for sensitive eyes or skin. The glitter isn’t really finely milled, hence may irritate a bit. Overall, you can get one of these if you love to add glitter to your makeup. They offer a lot of shades and most of the other shades apparently are creamier and smoother. Would I Repurchase/Recommend Ulta Put A Ring On It Glitter Eye Top Coat?
Even though this isn’t a bad product, I will prefer the Kyrolan glitters.  Go get one but only if you fall in love with the shades.
