Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil Torch Review

Urban Decay’s Naked Heat collection is still a rage in the beauty world. Along with the gorgeous eyeshadow palette, they launched three limited edition lipsticks and two permanent 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencils: Alkaline and Torch. So today, I am going to review the shade Torch from this range.

My Experience with Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil Torch:

Packaging:
The packaging of this eye pencil looks classy. There is a multicoloured holographic plastic box, which looks just wow and sophisticated. The outer box has all the product details and ingredient list with the shade name. This box also has a colorful side which depicts the actual shade of the pencil inside.

The pencil is long and slender with a color-coded body. It also has a beautiful silver cap and a silver band at the end. The look and feel of the pencil are very posh and nice. This pencil is a sharpenable product but the brand doesn’t provide any sharpener with the purchase.

Shade:
There are more than 20 shades in the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil range. The brand has added two more shades – Torch (a burnt sienna color) and Alkaline (a dark purple shade) – as a part of its Naked Heat collection. Torch is a gorgeous color and it looks like a reddish orange shade. It looks mostly like a burnt copper shade on the eyes.

This is such a unique shade and sets the eyes on fire when worn. I like to use it on the waterline by adding a hint of black kohl and Torch, thereby giving a sizzling eye look. I also wear it as an eyeliner on my eyes, which adds a quick pop of color to any makeup look.

Formula:
The formula of this eye pencil is similar to their other Glide-On Eye Pencils’ formula. This shade is warm with red undertones and has a beautiful matte finish. It is intensely pigmented and goes opaque in a single stroke. The consistency is smooth and creamy without being too waxy. It glides on with ease on the eyes. Since it is very creamy it may break when extreme pressure is applied.

Wear Time:
The eye pencil doesn’t crease or smudge and stays put throughout the day. The longevity of this pencil is superb as it stays intact with minimal fading throughout the day.
