Hope all of you are having a great weekend! I am back with a review of a much-hyped-about, which I picked up last year – the Urban Decay After Glow Glide On Cheek Tint. The shade under review is “Score.”

Product Description:

“Look, you’re blushing!” Sheer, buildable cheek tints feel weightless and glide effortlessly over foundation or bare skin. Build your tint to suit your desired blush factor.  Finally! Sheer, buildable cheek tints that glide on and feel weightless – (never heavy or greasy like your grandma’s cream blush). Our techy-feeling tint applies effortlessly on top of any foundation or bare skin, no pulling or rubbing needed to make it look right and you will never get that powdery, cakey look that sometimes comes from powder blush.  Our modern, yummy shades include a shameless hot pink, a super-healthy berry and natural peachy tints, to name a few. The formula is loaded with good-for-you ingredients like Vitamin E, Vitamin C and Vitamin A, so your skin gets nourished and protected. The color goes on more sheer than it looks in the pan, but since its so buildable, you control how much you want to blush.  We also love to blend two shades together to mimic a natural flushed effect. My Take on Urban Decay Afterglow Glide On Cheek Tint – Score:

This cream blush comes packed in a round purple and lilac container, with a silver snake imprinted on the flip-open lid along with the UD logo. It comes with outer hard plastic packaging. Actually, the most popular shade in this range is “Quickie,” which is a bright candy pink.  “Score” is a peachy-light brown shade with subtle gold shimmer.

The shimmer is noticeable on the fingers, but not so very noticeable when applied on cheeks. I must mention here that the gold shimmer is very noticeable in the pan, but I really don’t know where it disappears when applied! If you are someone who is looking for a barely-there, almost invisible yet subtle, glow on your cheeks, this would be suitable for you. On the other hand, if you are looking for a base for your powder blush, you could use this as a “blush primer” and layer your powder blush over this, and your blusher will instantly be transformed into a long-lasting blush, lasting up to 4 or 5 hours, depending on your skin type.

I also like how buildable this creme blush is, you can add a few layers and build up it up to the colour intensity you so desire, but it still won’t look cakey or thick on your cheeks. You can also dab a bit to add some colour to your cheekbones, the shimmer seems to stand out a bit here, so it looks like a highlighter. I like to use my fingers to apply this, rather than a stippling brush, as the warmth from the fingers enables it to spread easily and smoothly.

Pros of Urban Decay Afterglow Glide On Cheek Tint – Score:

• Comes in a cute little round pan, which is convenient and easy to carry in your handbag.
• Adds an instant subtle flush to the cheeks.
• Good for day time use.
• Contains skin-friendly vitamins.
• The colour is buildable.
• Can also be used as a base for powder blushes, making them last longer.
• Can be used as a highlighter too, though maybe a shade or two lighter than this shade being reviewed.
• The shimmer in this is hardly visible on the skin.

Cons of Urban Decay Afterglow Glide On Cheek Tint – Score:

• May not be suited for very oily skin, especially during summer time (but still does a rather good job as a base during hot weather!)

I would love to try another shade in this, like the bright pink one, I am sure that would look rather like a nice, pretty stain.
