How are you doing today? I am here to share another beautiful winter shade with you all from the Urban Decay Vice Lipstick collection. I had picked up a handful from their vast 100+ shades and, believe me, it’s a nerve-wracking task to come back with just a handful of goodies when you are lost in the pool of colors. Considering my interest for plums, I picked up this beautiful rosy-plum lipstick with cream finish from Urban Decay, and I am all in love with it. My Experience with Urban Decay Crisis Vice Lipstick:

The creamy lipstick comes in an identical shiny golden white metallic packaging with a pullover cap. It does not have any significant fragrance. I just find it tricky at times as the cap goes all the way down to the base of the bullet, making it troublesome in times of hurry.

My shade “Crisis” is defined as a cream plum-rose shade which is true to its description as it comes up as a dark muted plum shade on my pale skin tone. I think it will fair well on a variety of Asian-Indian beauties. It imparts a juicy, creamy and glossy finish with full color pay off in just one swipe while I need a second swipe to even out the edges and finish. It is impressive to see that it lets go of minor lip flaws like dry patches, mild pigmentation etc with its soft buttery texture and fully opaque formula. Yes, it is definitely suitable for every beauty including gals with dry or pigmented lips.

I am in love with its lightweight buttery texture which easily glides on my normal-dry lips without sitting on the dry patches and/or sitting into the lip lines, making it suitable for winters. I won’t say it slips like silk on the lips, though; but it is not drying on my lips in any way. I mean, it does not seem to be melting off at the room temperature unlike other cream lipsticks. Impressive, huh? In fact, it does not bleed or feather around the lips considering most of the cream finish lipsticks require a lip liner underneath; thankfully, we need not worry about it.

It does transfer a lot and still manages to stay put for good 4-5 hours, thereby fading after one heavy meal and leaving behind soft, juicy lips. To sum it up, I am definitely in love with this particular range of ‘Vice’ lipsticks for their opaque, non-cakey, juicy, glossy finish and perfect formula which will work on every beauty. Personally, I would definitely like to try this range again, not necessarily the same shade, though. I will highly recommend this lipstick to everyone considering the price range and performance.
