I am back again with another Urban Decay treat for you all.  It’s my most favorite shade out of all Urban Decay Revolution High Color glosses that I own; though I am hoping to try all the other shades from this range and who knows I might change my mind 😉 As I always say, I am into pigmented glosses and lip colors, hence these Urban Decay Revolution high-color glosses are a dream-come-true for gals like me who want that glossy sheen in their lip products along with intense color payoff.  Here’s more about Urban Decay Revolution Quiver High-Color Lip Gloss!

What it does:

Enriched with Hilurlip™, these glosses define and hydrate lips, making them appear fuller and plumper. My Experience with Urban Decay Quiver Revolution High-Color Lip Gloss:

As the brands describes, these glosses come in a transparent barrel packaging with classy see-through gloss with gunmetal cap attached to a sleek and slender doe-foot applicator. It does have a faint synthetic smell, which is not to my liking, but thankfully, it subsides in a short while.  Overall, it’s a classy, attractive, and travel-friendly packaging.

The shade “Quiver” is described as a medium rose pink while it shows up as a subtle raspberry pink with (slight hint of purple undertones at times) on my lips with an ultimate creamy glossy sheen much to my liking. It so gracefully shows up on my pale skin tone that it has become my all-time favorite summer shade. I am sure it will suit a variety of Indian skin tones, especially pale/light skin tones. I also love how it comes up so light and almost translucent on the lips with nearly full coverage and intense color payoff in just 1-2 swipes.

However, I notice that it gives a semi-sheer color payoff in the first swipe (which is totally fine) and might seem like it’s sinking into the lip lines while I need two swipes for nearly full coverage and to smartly blur out the lip lines. It also forgives a little dryness here and there on the lips as with two swipes, I get intense color payoff with glossy yet translucent finish. Hence I am hopeful that it will definitely suit light to medium pigmented lips apart from dry normal lips as it provides decent hydration as long as it stays on the lips.

Yes gals, I do get soft, supple, and hydrated lips for as long as the gloss stays on my lips while I don’t feel like swiping a lip balm even after it fades off, impressive huh?! Moreover, it stays for a good 5-6 hours on my lips with its glossy and intense raspberry finish with slight transferring, but it’s fine overall.

Comparing it to the “Failbait” shade, I feel it is a really price-worthy shade for the intense and flawless finish it gives on the lips.

I feel it’s a must-try shade and gloss for everyone, especially if you are like me because I want both pigmentation and subtle glossy sheen in lip products. I would like to get it again for its perfect finish, pigmentation and hydration properties.

• A gorgeous lightweight yet creamy and glossy subtle raspberry pink lip gloss.
• Gives nearly full coverage in two swipes.
• Does not bleed or feather.
• Does not feel tacky or sticky on the lips.
• Does provide decent hydration to lips for quite a few hours, even after fading off the lips.
• Does not accentuate or highlight dry patches on my lips or lip lines.
• It might seem like it’s sticking to the lip lines initially, but it is completely manageable and workable with two swipes as it gives intense color payoff with even finish.
• Stays on for 5- 6 hours.
• The shade and formula of the lip gloss with suit Indian skin tones.
• Attractive and travel-friendly packaging.

Cons of Urban Decay Quiver Revolution High-Color Lip Gloss:

• The gloss might seem sheer in the first swipe, but second swipe takes care of it.

Well, I don’t think of any major concern with this shade as I love it most for its formula and consistency over all. I am sure you will definitely love the way it feels and comes up on lips. I will rate it 4.8/5!
