This review will be on the Urban Decay Sheer Revolution Lipstick in Sheer Rapture.
About The Product:
A super creamy lipstick with a sheer, shiny finish and richly pigmented color.
What it does:
Urban Decay’s Sheer Revolution Lipstick is everything you love about the original Revolution lipstick, but with a sheer, shiny finish. Every shade features a rich, creamy feel and a gorgeous, high-shine finish. Like Urban Decay’s original formula, this sheer lipstick hugs lips, sweeping on with an ultra-smooth, budge-free application.
Urban Decay’s Pigment Infusion System™ gives Sheer Revolution its creamy texture, ultimate color dispersion, and extended wear. Infused with a nourishing blend of oils and antioxidants Maxi-Lip™, it defines and hydrates lips while making them look plumper and fuller. Shea butter, jojoba, olive, and babassu oils moisturize and condition, while vitamin C and vitamin E provide a dose of antioxidants.

My Experience with Urban Decay Rapture Sheer Revolution Lipstick:
These sheer revolution lipsticks come in the similar packaging as previously released original revolution lipstick. The only difference is these sheer revolution lipsticks have a light lavender purple tube instead of gunmetal. The cap closes securely and the name of the name is printed on the base of the lipstick.
These sheer revolution lipsticks are very smooth and creamy and they glide on very easily. They feel like a cross between a lipstick, gloss and a lip balm. They are incredibly hydrating and do not settle in fine lines or accentuate the dryness of the lips.
Shade, Pigmentation & Finish:
The shade Sheer Rapture is described as a sheer dusty rose. On me, the shade looks deep mauve with a very notable plum undertone. It can still be a MLBB shade on me but with a twist, due to its purple tinge.
The pigmentation on this lipstick is very good and they pack a good amount of color for being a sheer lipstick. I can get almost 75-80% opacity on my lips and the high shine gloss makes the lips look healthy, pouty and full. These lipsticks are very low maintenance and look good even without no makeup on and they are very easy to carry off by almost all skin tones.
This lipstick applies without any tug or unevenness. The high shine on this lipstick dulls down after about 3 hours and turns into a satin finish. Total the staying power is about 4-5 hours which is good but not very impressive.
This lipstick has a very mild almost undetectable scent which is a plus point for many people who prefer their makeup products to not have strong scent.
Overall; I do really love these new Sheer Revolution lipsticks. I can see this particular color being flattering on all skin tones. The lightweight and hydrating feel on the lips are all plus points.
I will recommend Urban Decay Rapture Sheer Revolution Lipstick.
