Hello gorgeous ladies,
A couple of weeks ago, I laid my hands on this beautiful lipstick from Urban Decay – Catfight. Trust me, I have been wearing this ever since I got it – Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick – Catfight. This color is described as pink-fuchsia with slight red undertone.
What it is:
A luxury lipstick that delivers intense color payoff plus creamy shine.
What it does:
Revolution Lipstick is rich, buttery lipstick at its best—with the signature Urban Decay pigment-rich color you crave. Addictive to apply (and even more addictive to wear), Revolution Lipstick glides on without dragging or skipping and hugs every curve. Just one swipe gives you a big, gorgeous lay down of color. And with shades that range from gorgeous nudes to bold brights, there’s something for everyone. Formulated without parabens, sulfates, phthalates. Urban Decay’s Pigment Dispersion System™ gives Revolution Lipstick its super creamy texture, intense pigmentation, superior color dispersion, and extended wear. Maxi-Lip™ defines and hydrates lips while making them look plumper and fuller. And a nourishing blend of jojoba oil, avocado oil, cocoa butter and shea butter keeps lips super moisturized and cushiony soft. The luxe, custom-designed gunmetal tube (lined in Urban Decay’s signature dark purple) looks so gorgeous; you’ll want to keep pulling it out of your bag.
Price: $22.00 for 0.09 oz.
My Experience with Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick – Catfight:
I am a sucker for lipsticks. When Urban Decay launched its new collection, I was a little skeptical to try it as I was always a MAC lipstick fan, but then after reading lot of great reviews about this lipstick, I decided to pick one for myself. I immediately ran to Sephora to swatch the colors and I was very impressed with the color payoff and immediately decided to pick this beautiful fuchsia pink color.
The lipstick comes in a very sleek and simple looking gunmetal tube. It looks quite similar to the packaging of the “Lakme Absolute” lipsticks.
There’s no fragrance.
This lipstick has a very creamy and glossy texture. It glides on smoothly giving a creme finish to the lips without settling in the fine lines and doesn’t emphasize dry patches on the lips. It keeps lips super moisturized and cushiony soft all through the day and doesn’t dry out the lips as most of the MAC lipsticks do after a few hours of wear. There is no need to moisturize or scrub the lips before applying which makes it very ideal during winters and dry weather and also for people who tend to suffer from dry and parched lips.
It has an amazing color payoff, gives an opaque finish in just one swipe and covers the pigmentation on the lips.
It lasted on my lips for 4-5 hours with sipping coffee and eating sandwiches. It may last a little longer if you either use a spoon or a straw. Even though it is creamy, it doesn’t bleed or transfer on the teeth, but it does transfer while kissing or sipping coffee 😛 As this doesn’t claim to be a stain, I still see some color on my lips after 8-9 hours of wear (bright color could be the reason).
It wears off beautifully without being patchy and doesn’t dry out the lips at the end of the day. Glossy finish wears off after eating food, but since this shade being bright leaves a natural looking tint on the lips.

Overall, I totally love this lipstick and I would definitely pick up a neutral shade. I would suggest this product to anyone who is in search of a nice creamy glossy lipstick, but if you are looking for a matte shade, this may not be the product for you. I believe this can be mattified if you smack your lips on a paper towel and apply some loose powder over it.
