Every shade features a rich, creamy feel and a gorgeous, high-shine finish. Like Urban Decay’s original formula, this sheer lipstick hugs lips, sweeping on with an ultra-smooth, budge-free application.

Urban Decay’s Pigment Infusion System™ gives Sheer Revolution its creamy texture, ultimate color dispersion, and extended wear. Infused with a nourishing blend of oils and antioxidants Maxi-Lip™, it defines and hydrates lips while making them look plumper and fuller. Shea butter, jojoba, olive, and babassu oils moisturize and condition, while vitamin C and vitamin E provide a dose of antioxidants.

My Experience with Urban Decay Slowburn Sheer Revolution Lipstick:

Packaging:

These lipsticks come in a similar packaging as the revolution lipstick. The only difference is these have a light purple tube instead of the original gunmetal. Cap closes securely.

Texture:

These sheer revolution lipsticks are very creamy and smooth. The feel like a cross between a lipstick, gloss and lip balm.The feel immensely hydrating on the lips and do not accentuate fine lines. The glossy finish makes the lips looks smoother and plumper.

Shade:

The shade “Slow burn” is describes as a sheer orange red. There is nothing sheer about the pigmentation on this shade. It gives full bold color with 1-2 swipes. The color is very bright and bold yet also very summery. It brightens up the face. This shade even though it is very bright is easy to carry off. It will complement most skin tones. The finish is very glossy initially but the shine wears down to a satin finish in about 2-3 hours. It does transfer minimally.

Staying Power:

The staying power is about 4-5 hours. It does fade faster if you eat or drink anything. It feels comfortable on the lips throughout the wear and does not dry out lips even after it is faded. It does not leave behind a stain.

Fragrance:

It has a very light almost undetectable scent.
Overall, I absolutely love this color and I know I will be using this shade a lot once the Summer season is here. I highly recommend this.
