How to Use Veet Waxing Strips Effectively
Hi Everyone, ๐
I keep all kinds of hair removal tools and products with me at all times. Depending on the situation, different things work at different times. Well! same is the case with Veet Waxing Strips.
Honestly, ‘rub between the hands to warm up the strips’ trick just did not work for me.So for a long time these were just kept lying in my drawer. The other day I thought I’d warm these strips with a candle. These worked like a charm. ๐
Just move the wax strip 1-2 times on a burning candle. Don’t keep the strip too close as the flame may burn the strip but don’t keep it too far that it wouldn’t warm the wax only.
Once the wax gets a bit warm, the strips work wonders. Even after you have stripped the two strips apart, you can warm each strip individually on top of a candle flame. That works great.
And now I am kinda addicted to using these. ๐
Hope you find the tip useful. ๐
Good day everyone!

Rati di these are my favorite as they help a lot when we are in hurry and have no time for parlour.. I totally agree that rubbing these strips in between the hands doesn’t work.. I ll warm them up next time above the candle.. Thank you for the tip.. *thankyou*
you can also put an unopened pair in between a hankerchief and iron them and then use ๐
Even I do d same… Rubbing with hands tricks didnt work for me.
Thank you Rati for this awesome tip….. i had just given up on using readymade wax strips because the warm between your hands formula doesn’t work at all for me, i would try this way *happydance*
*happy dance* *happy dance* *happy dance* *happy dance* *happy dance* *happy dance*
I warm them up by dipping it in hot water..works like a charm ๐
but that would wet the strip?? and you should be waxing with no moisture for effective results. ..
I dip them before separating the strips ๐
Wax strips..i stay away frm them..i got hurt once when i used and since then I never look at the strips.. *headbang* *headbang* *headbang*

You can use your hair dryer too to warm up the wax strips. It works like magic!
One can also warm it up with an iron. N d process is smooth n hassle free
brilliant idea *happydance*
Thanks for the tip ! will try this the next time ๐
Will use it.Ty ๐
you may use scented candle as well. It creates a lovely environment in the bathroom / room *preen* *preen*
Thanks rati…..it vl b helpful 4 me bcoz earlier I ws using d same strips wid out warm it but it was painful 4 me but nw it vl b more comfortable than before.
cool tip
I usually hold them against a mug of warm water, to make sure it warms evenly. The rubbing thing is useless, I agree.
Hey
I use iron to warm up the strips… It’s wonderful and does not takes time too. *haan ji*
wow!! I m gonna try this….those wax strips might be laying somewhere around…, gotta search them now!
that was helpful.. *thankyou*
A more easier one that I found was.. moving a hair dryer over it twice.. :).. does the trick..
Brilliant tip Rati di *woot* *woot* *woot* *woot* *happy dance* *happy dance* *happy dance* *happy dance* *happy dance* *happy dance* *happy dance*
Another way of using these strips is to run it over an iron before using them ๐
I use a blow dryer to heat it
I usually use a hairdryer to warm em up!
hush these strips never worked on me with rubbing technique ๐ . Thanks for introducing brilliant trick ๐
great tip! i used to warm it up with my laptop *happydance* . hp gets heated up like a stove *grrr*
Thanks Rati i m gonna try this. U r wonderful always solving my problems at right times. *thankyou* *thankyou*
i warm it with hair dryer!
We can also use blow dryer to heat up the wax its even easier.
ironing them lightly by keeping a cloth in between the strip and iron also works wonders ๐ ๐
Awesome tip Rati *hifive*
I put them in microwave for 30 secs
I microwave them for abt 5-10 seconds. Works well. *pompom*
I have been using this wax since high school and only recently have i discovered blow drying them – because no matter how much i rub they never seem to heat up. I think after they changed the formula/packaging mid last year it has gotten more difficult to heat up.
Wow.. wt an idea.. *jai ho* *clap* I nvr used wax strips as m sensitive to hot wax injuries.. *scared* bt nw I knw hw these strip work.. *happydance* I wud try it out for sure.. *happy dance*
Imbb gang is superb.. *jai ho*
for me.. i have always heated the iron box for around 30 seconds or so and slowly run over the weet strings they work wonders after that.. wanted to share this tip long back with IMBB butit skipped my mind some how *headbang* *headbang*
