Happiness is, “When someone travelling abroad brings you new products without extra shipping and taxes”! 😀 Yes it is girls. Recently I purchased a handful of goodies from the UK. The first one to be reviewed is Vaseline Healthy Hands + UV Protection SPF 15 Hand Cream. Let’s take a look at it.
Healthy Hands + UV Protection hand cream with SF 15 leaves your hands feeling soft while also providing daily protection from harmful UV rays.
£4 for 75 ml. Made in UK.
My Take on Vaseline Healthy Hands + UV Protection SPF 15 Hand Cream:
I have really dry hands and more precisely, I would call damaged skin on hands because of dry eczema, which worsens with contact with any type of detergents and exaggerates in dry weather. For years, I have stayed loyal to Neutrogena Hand Cream and still love it, but an IMBB addict can’t restrain herself from trying out new stuff.
Packaging: The packaging gets full marks; it comes in a fresh green colored squeezable plastic tube with flip open cap. The prints and description on the tube are very attractive and make you feel good while pulling it out from your bag that you are using a nice product. Yeah, sometimes packaging matters a lot too psychologically in liking or disliking a particular product. It contains sufficient amount for the price and is a light weight, travel friendly hand cream.
Consistency, Texture & Finish: The consistency of the hand cream is mediocre; not watery thin and neither too thick. It feels creamy and hydrating when blended. The hand cream claims to be infused with pure aloe and stratys to provide multi layer moisture. I am not very sure about the term multi-layer moisture but the cream is definitely moisturizing for hands. Also, it gives the feel of some product with aloe vera benefits. The fragrance is soothing and everyone will like it, though it stays for a short time. It contains sunscreen SPF 15, which I think is a big plus factor over other hand creams in the same price range. So you get the added benefit of UV protection along with moisture to have healthy, soft and supple hands. It blends in easily, sinking into skin without any greasy residue.
Results on skin: Though the claims of 24 hour moisture are not true, but it keeps hands soft for 6 plus hours in summers. In harsh winter, this duration might be less than 6 hours. Overall, it makes my hands feel fragrant, soft and hydrated whenever I use it for several hours. The cream instantly takes away dryness from skin making hands feel comfortable with the suppleness it provides. Let’s sum it up.
Pros of Vaseline Healthy Hands + UV Protection SPF 15 Hand Cream:
- Pure aloe and stratys infused hand cream with SFP 15 for UV protection.
- Light weight and non-greasy on skin.
- Sinks into skin within seconds.
- Leaves hands soft and supple and takes away dryness.
- Hydrates and moisturises for 6 hours on average.
- Suitable for every skin type.
- Travel friendly and affordable.
Cons of Vaseline Healthy Hands + UV Protection SPF 15 Hand Cream:
- Claims of 24 hour moisture are not true.
- Not a Parabens free product!
Would I recommend/repurchase Vaseline Healthy Hands + UV Protection SPF 15 Hand Cream?
This is no doubt a really awesome product; must try for the quality and quantity at this price tag. I am not going to search this one intentionally but will pick it up again if I spot it and need a hand cream. Ciao beauties.
