Happy winters peeps!  When I wake up in the morning, I can feel the breezy air come in from the window and it feels really soothing and calming. And topping it my favourite festival, Diwali is coming up which keeps me all geared up. Coming to the current season, this is the lotion I am using since quite a while now. I used to take gaps in between with some other lotions for bed-time when it used to get boring. But yes, my HG one currently. I have a new one which is going to win over this I think. But as of now, let’s know more about this 

My Experience with Vaseline Intensive Care Essential Healing Non-Greasy Lotion:

At first when I got this I thought that this is something that is not going to be available in India, but soon when I saw some ads from Vaseline, I realised that yes, they finally got some products from this shelves to India. There were 3 to 4 variants, but I preferred picking this up since my skin really turns dry during winters. This was the only size available which makes it a super saver deal since I get so much of lotion but on the other side, this isn’t travel-friendly because the pumps keeps on squeezing out a little amount which makes the bag untidy. But it does have smaller sizes to go for as well.

The bottle is a cute looking one made up of plastic and comes in a light lemon yellow colour which is quite refreshing and decent looking. It has all its benefits written at the back of the bottle. The nozzle is the best part since pump nozzles are so convenient to use.

The fragrance is refreshing and mild at the same time; it has a powdery touch to it and it smells very close to the cold creams. It has a floral touch but not over-powering. It gives a very pleasant feel and the scent vanishes after 15-20 minutes of application. It is buttery smooth and slathers like a dream on my skin. A few pumps are required to cover the entire body; hence it will be the best to get a large sized bottle.

It gets absorbed in like 1 minute, but I like than 1 minute because I can give a good massage to my skin. It gets absorbed nicely without leaving a greasy cast behind which makes a great point. But the consistency is a little heavy, so if excess if applied then it has the potential to make the skin greasy. Also, it might make the skin greasy during summer. Also it does not contain any SPF which is why I would restrict its usage either to winter or bed-time.

My skin feels instantly hydrated with their jelly content and it feels very soft and smooth. My skin looks bright after using this. And in the morning, it feels totally bouncy and healthy. The elbows have a lot of dryness and also some other areas on my skin and I could feel it healing in the very first week of regular application. I used it for three weeks and I have to say it does what it claims. It is a saviour during winter because it will totally turn chapped and parched skin into very healthy looking one. Must try for the current season!

• Has a lovely mild floral cum powdery fragrance which lingers for a while and then vanishes.
• Gets absorbed quickly into the skin and did not make my skin oily or greasy.
• The jelly content gives an instant boost of hydration to my dry skin making it appear instantly.
• It is a saviour for dry skin since it actually heals dry skin like it claims.
• It makes my skin appear very healthy, soft and supple through-out.

Cons of Vaseline Intensive Care Essential Healing Non-Greasy Lotion:

• No SPF.
• It might be a little greasy or sticky during the summers.
• It might turn out to be a little greasy if the lotion is applied in excess and not massaged efficiently.

Will I Repurchase/ Recommend Vaseline Intensive Care Essential Healing Non-Greasy Lotion?
Yes I will, either this one or some other variant for winter as I love how decently they work and I love such lotions for daily use when I am at home in my pyjamas, I just feel relaxed  But I wouldn’t get these for summer as they prove to be a little heavy!

Conclusion:
A lot of women rely on Vaseline when it comes to winter prepping and I think this is really apt for this season as being a new launch it has a lot of improvement in the formula. Plus get the pump bottle and life will be easier than ever for winters 
