How are you all doing?? Today, I will be reviewing a spray moisturizer from Vaseline. A different kind of varient (meant for dry skin) has already been reviewed on IMBB before, but this on the other hand is meant for all skin types and provide intensive care. I really like the concept of spray moisturisers as they are so easy to work with and I was using the Parachute one till sometime back, but on a recent visit to Scandinavia, I saw this and instantly picked it up. Read on to know more about this product.
Essential Healing: Absorbs in seconds. Moisturizes deeply to help heal dry skin. Instantly leaves skin soft, not greasy or sticky. Dispenses evenly with one all-over spray.
My Experience with Vaseline Intensive Care Spray Moisturiser:
The moisturizer comes in a standard yellow colored spray bottle. This has a provision of continuous spray which means that when you dispense the lotion, you can get a continuous spray.
I just love spray moisturisers, they are the best to carry around and use, I love using them. The consistency of the lotion is very thin, even thinner than a normal lotion which makes sense or else it will not be easy to spray it on body. But like any other lotion , t is creamy enough to cover most of the body parts and provide a good moisturizing effect.
One biggest advantage of using spray lotions is that they are so easy to apply on any part of the body and they get absorbed instantly. They are so much easy to work with. The lotion has a very pleasant smell which uplifts your mood instantly and leaves a faint fragrance on your skin after application. The bottle no doubt is very convenient to use and carry around, but I personally find it too bulky to carry in a handbag, but if you are travelling or something, then you can consider carrying it. I somehow prefer mini bottles like the parachute one, but that is not a continuous spray bottle.
Now coming to its performance, this one does hydrates your skin well and provides an instant moisturisation to your skin. But gradually during the day, the effect does not seem to be long lasting as skin tends to get dry and you feel the need to re-apply it. This is mainly due to the thin consistency that this spray lotion has got (unlike its normal variant which is a thick liquid). Also, I don’t think that the moisturization is sufficient for winters as it may not be well suited for your skin in harsh cold and dry weather. You would need something heavier than this.
But overall, I really liked this product, because of the ease of using it (I love spraying it again and again) and also the instant nourishment that it provides. I also find it better than the local ones that I have tried so far.
