Vatika DermoViva U.S.A. Fairness Serum Review

Vatika DermoViva U.S.A. Fairness Serum

Hello everyone,

How’s the climate treating you all? Well it’s so hot and humid here in Kuwait. I so badly want to go and enjoy the beach but this climate is making me stick indoors itself *waaa*. However this hasn’t stopped me from shopping *hihi*. Today I will be reviewing about a fairness serum. I know these fairness claiming products turn out to be a success very rarely but still I just can’t resist myself from buying these 😛

My experience with Vatika DermoViva U.S.A. Fairness Serum:

Despite having bad experiences with fairness claiming products I picked up this product and I regret it so badly *headbang* . I have an oily acne prone skin. This product says that it’s apt for all skin types. So I thought this might work out for me and guess what I was proved wrong. Read on to know why.
Packaging: this serum comes in a sturdy opaque plastic pump bottle. This is travel friendly and also hygienic. The pump packaging seals the product inside without exposing it to light and air and keeping the goodness within.

Texture: The serum is whitish in colour. It is not too thick or runny. 1 pump is enough for my entire face. However I apply 1 more pump on my neck to get an even effect. I find that this serum is very light weight and non- sticky and gets absorbed within seconds. Even if I apply 2 more pumps the serum gets absorbed instantly leaving a non-greasy face. This is what I would like to see in serums. I used this in the night. Next day morning I found few bumps on my skin I was so sad but then I thought maybe I should give it a bit more time for my face to adjust it and again applied it on my face in the night and the next day morning the existing bumps became red pimples and I got new bumps on my chin area. I didn’t want to try this anymore and stopped it. My sister has combination skin but this broke her out too.

I checked online to see which ingredient is breaking me out and finally found that carbomer is mildly comedogenic, ethylhexyl stearate is comedogenic and isopropyl palmitate is highly comedogenic. I don’t understand why they say that this is for all skin types. The chemicals in this are infinity! However, despite it breaking me out I still wanted to check if it would stay put on its fairness claims and thus I applied it on my arms and hands since I have dry skin there. I did not have that horrid experience on my arms like I had on my face. I used it continuously on my arms and hands for 3 weeks but I did not see any fairness effect. It claims that it lightens discolouration but it did nothing to my tanned arm. Moreover it says that it can be used on body and hands but it is not at all moisturising. This turned out to be a dud product for me. I am now taking 6-8 pumps for 1 arm and trying to finish this ASAP.

No way!!! Never ever!!! Absolutely hate this product!

Do I recommend Vatika DermoViva U.S.A. Fairness Serum?

Isopropyl Palmitate is highly comedogenic so I would recommend all skin types to stay away from this product.
