Hi lovely ladies,
How are you all? Today, I am going to review a new kajal that has been launched by Vega. It’s Vega Eye Glam Kajal. There is a small hair brush free with this Kajal as part of the introductory offer. Well, who doesn’t like free goodies? The small hair brush fits perfectly in my handbag. Vega has never disappointed me as a brand. I thought to give Vega Eye Glam Kajal a try. Let’s see how it worked out for me.
Price: Rs.199 for 0.35gm
Shelf Life: 24 months
My Experience with Vega Eye Glam Kajal:
Vega Eye Glam Kajal comes in an orange cardboard packing. It is made in Germany which is written in big letters on the pack. The kajal comes in a black retractable pencil with a nice cap. The cap secures the kajal pencil tightly and it is easy to carry around. The twist up mechanism works well. The over all packaging is sturdy and travel-friendly. In tiny letters, the shade black is mentioned on the kajal. The name Vega Eye glam Kajal is mentioned in bright pink and white letters. The combination reminds me of L’Oreal Paris Kajal Magique.
It claims to have the goodness of natural ingredients like jojoba oil, chamomile, vitamin E and cupucau butter, but the full ingredient list is missing from the pack.
The shade is a nice dark black color. It is well pigmented and gives dark black color in two swipes. I have swatched it for three swipes which give a dark bold look to the eyes.
The texture is smooth and neither too delicate nor too hard, just right to apply. It glides smoothly over the eyelids and on the water lines. It didn’t irritate my eyes. There was no feeling of tugging or pulling while application. One can create different eyeliner looks with such an ease with this kajal.
It claims to stay for good 18 hours. I applied it for good 8-10 hours. After 6 hours or so, it started fading and there was a little smudging on the water line. But, it was not looking messy. The matte look on the upper eyelid was intact but the color was looking dull. It is definitely waterproof and smudge-proof. I have to clean it with an oil based makeup remover.
As a newly launched product, it didn’t disappoint me. Vega has proved its niche in makeup accessories. Now, it has come up with a new product i.e. kajal. One can give it a try. Well, you get two products for the price of one. It is a win-win product for college going girls.
Pros of Vega Eye Glam Kajal:
• Looks bold on eyes
• Matte black shade
• Smooth texture
• Smudge-proof and waterproof
• No tugging or pulling while applying
• Good to create different looks
• Affordable price with a free goodie
• Travel-friendly packaging
• Easy to use
• Ophthalmologist tested
• Good staying power
• Doesn’t look patchy or dry
Cons of Vega Eye Glam Kajal:
• 18-hour claim is not true

Will I Repurchase/Recommend Vega Eye Glam Kajal?
I will not repurchase it. I just wanted it because free hairbrush was there. I will definitely recommend this to give it a try. If you don’t wear kajal all day long, then you won’t be disappointed.
