Versace Bright Crystal Body Lotion Review

Hi Ladies,

Last November, I bought myself Versace Bright Crystal perfume (in the pink shade) for no special reason. There used to be a time when I purchased perfumes only on special occasions. Now I randomly pick them up, mostly after reading reviews and testing it without doing too much Math. I loved the perfume so much that I wanted a lotion from the same line. When my husband visited UK last month, I asked him to pick this up for me and boom, I had it on my hands a couple of weeks earlier.

Inspired by a mixture of Donatella Versace’s favourite floral fragrances, Bright Crystal is a fresh, sensual blend of refreshing chilled yuzu and pomegranate mingled with soothing blossoms of peony, magnolia, and lotus flower, warmed with notes of musk and amber.

My Experience with Versace Bright Crystal Lotion :

I don’t prefer perfumed lotions honestly and avoid them as far as possible. But I love the notes of the bright crystal perfume so much that I wanted to try the lotion as well. I like to layer the lotion along with the scent. The combination works great for me. The lotion is light weight and not heavy. It’s so runny that the product spills out into the cap. The top isn’t user-friendly and a pump would be much better. The lotion absorbs quickly and is scented upon application. The scent is fabulous. It is very girly which I completely like; and extremely feminine just like the perfume. All this product does is to amplify the perfume to an extent for me. It even makes my clothes smell. Though the lotion is light, it still gives me the right moisturization. It’s not meant for any deep moisturization.

I have used this lotion without the perfume and the scent does stay on the skin for about 2 hours. But if worn alone, it is not enough to substitute the perfume. Spending Rs. 2500 on a lotion should really be strong enough to wear on its own. Sad to say, it needs the perfume to boost it. It does help boost the longevity of the perfume but it’s not up to the mark. I wish they made the lotion way more concentrated. I love the way it smells and boosts the perfume; but I am not toooo impressed.

My Likes regarding Versace Bright Crystal Body Lotion:

• Smells almost like the perfume from this line.
• Right moisturization
• Very feminine and elegant
• Helps boosts the longevity of the perfume.

My Dislikes regarding Versace Bright Crystal Body Lotion:

• Pump dispenser would be way better.
• Very runny that I end up wasting the product.
• Too expensive.

Would I recommend Versace Bright Crystal Body Lotion?

Skip this! Don’t waste your hard earned money.

Would I re-purchase Versace Bright Crystal Body Lotion?
