Diamonds are supposed to be a girl’s best friend. So, when you have a perfume named as ‘Yellow Diamond’, it is hard to ignore it. And, that too when it comes from one of the haute couture’s major fashion houses, Versace.

I have a number of fashion magazines which have an amazing display of Versace’s clothing and fashion accessories. So, when I saw this perfume I thought I could pick up this one piece from Versace’s collection and feel on top of the world. Well, moving on to the review to see Versace Yellow Diamond Eau De Toilette Natural Spray sparkled…

Packaging:

The Versace Yellow Diamond EDT has a beautiful packaging in a glass bottle with the lid representing the yellow diamond. The top cap is a beauty in itself with the impressive Versace logo. The fragrance has a brilliant yellow color true to its name of yellow diamond. The EDT spray nozzle is very good. The EDT bottle is travel friendly. Packaging wise, the EDT is very impressive and true representation of the luxurious Versace brand.

My Experience with Versace Yellow Diamond Eau De Toilette Natural Spray:

When I first sprayed the EDT I could immediately smell a citrus fragrance along with floral notes. It is a very summer and spring kind of fragrance as it reminds of all fresh flowers, which bloom during the season.

This fragrance also has musk tones in it as during the later part of the day. I find that the floral notes are more subdued and a faint musky fragrance is present. The floral notes do not stay for a long duration though, a light citrus smell does linger. But, overall, the fragrance is very fresh and makes me feel very alive and ready to take on the day.

Since, this is an EDT the percentage of the fragrance oils is comparatively less than perfumes. Hence, this makes the fragrance to be very mild and not over whelming.

This fragrance is very refreshing and also very elegant. I find it a very good fragrance for daytime use. I use this perfume especially to office.

The fragrance is subtle and does not feel intense. Even though, I am not a big fan of very citrus fragrances it does not feel like I am drenched in a lemonade. It has floral notes which completely balances the lemony fragrance.

Though, the fragrance is very crisp and delightful it does not last for the whole day. So, if I use this perfume I need to make sure that I do not forget to keep it in my bag for re application. Therefore, the fragrance is good but, it is extremely high priced given the fact that it does not stay for long requiring reapplication.

Pros of Versace Yellow Diamond Eau De Toilette Natural Spray:

• The packaging is very impressive with a beautiful yellow diamond top of the bottle.
• The fragrance is very subtle and elegant with major lemony floral notes.
• It also has mild musk notes.
• It is a very fresh and crisp fragrance.
• This fragrance is quite suitable for daytime wear.
• Very good fragrance for workplace.
• This fragrance is very apt for summer and spring season.

Cons of Versace Yellow Diamond Eau De Toilette Natural Spray:

• The fragrance does not stay for long and fades away within 4 – 5 hours.
• Very high priced.

Would I repurchase Versace Yellow Diamond Eau De Toilette Natural Spray?

No. I would not buy this product again as it is too costly. However, Versace has come up with Couture Jasmine so I might try that one. But, it is so exorbitantly priced that it is deterring me.
