Vichy Ideal White Brightening Deep Cleansing Foam Review

I simply loved Rati’s Belgium pics. I was watching a song from the movie PK over the weekend and I told my family that Rati was here. Rati’s pictures were breathtaking! Once, I wanted to watch some movie at the theatre over the weekend as I was bored at home and more so because I was craving for caramel popcorns. Sounds strange! Isn’t it? But, unfortunately I couldn’t get the tickets nor the popcorns and I window shopped (read : shopped) the mall on my way back to the parking, I glanced at the Vichy products and just started conversing with the sales assistant there about the products.

She introduced the ‘Ideal White’ range to me and said that it’s suitable for my normal to dry skin. I was taken aback by the price of this facial foam, but she insisted that I give it a try. I went ahead with her wish and bought myself the “Vichy Ideal White Brightening Deep Cleansing Foam”. To be frank, I didn’t expect much from the foam, but it proved me wrong!

Claims:
• Thanks to the combination of Ceramide White and LHA in a foaming cream, skin is perfectly cleansed, soft and refreshed. Day after day, the complexion becomes significantly brighter.
• Deep Cell-Whitening depigments cells deeper in the epidermis.

How to Use:
Apply morning and night to damp skin. Lather the cream with water between your palms. Avoid the eye contour. Rinse thoroughly.

My Experience with Vichy Ideal White Brightening Deep Cleansing Foam:

The Vichy Ideal White Brightening Deep Cleansing Foam comes in a white tube packaging with a flip cap and has a very small hole to dispense the product. At first, one might feel that the hole is very small to dispense the product, but actually it is perfect as one needs very small quantity. This small gap that helps to prevent the wastage of the product. The tube packaging has a nice glossy finish. One might find the packaging boring or plain, but I feel that it is apt and it goes with the name “Ideal White”.

I have normal to dry skin which is sensitive and is uneven. I have small pigments on my skin. The sales lady said that this product is specifically designed for pigmented skin as it has the deep cell-whitening technology in it. Though I had my own doubts about how a face wash could help with the pigmented or uneven skin, I still bought it to give it a try. Frankly, the face wash is very good and a small quantity of it spreads smoothly over the face and gives a nice, squeaky clean experience after every wash. The fragrance is floral, more of roses which is not very overwhelming. The face wash has the texture of a lotion and it spreads evenly with water over the face. It does not foam, but cleanses the face thoroughly. My face does feel a little dry for some time, but that feeling vanishes soon.

The name states cleansing ‘foam’, but it’s more like a face wash and I am sure it’s going to last me long as a very small quantity is sufficient for use per day. I have read several reviews of Vichy products on IMBB, but always found them expensive. Again, this time too, I was hesitant to pick it because of its price. But, the sales assistant convinced me that the product cannot go wrong as it’s specifically designed for sensitive skin and is paraben free. I am very convinced with the product and would surely recommend it to all.
