Vichy Mineral Pore Purifying Clay Mask Review

I love face masks. I recently forgot to take care of my skin and I ended up with two fresh pimples on my skin. Clay masks have always been my go-to masks for cleansing. I had picked up Vichy sachet face masks last month and today’s review is all about Vichy Mineral Pore Purifying Clay Mask. Read on to know more about the product.

Ingredients:
Aqua, Kaolin, Argilla/Magnesium aluminum Silicate, Propanediol, Glycerin, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, CI 77891/Titanium Dioxide, Cetearyl Alcohol, Zea Mays, Corn Starch, CI 77891, above 77492, CI 77499 (Iron used), Allantoin, Ceteareth-20, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice Powder, Lecithin, Tocopherol, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Xanthan Gum, fragrance (Fragrance).

My Experience with Vichy Mineral Pore Purifying Clay Mask:

The mask comes in a grey sachet-like package. There are 2 pouches, each of 6ml. The contents are enough for single time for face and neck. This product is also a part of multi-masking. I initially thought that it was a charcoal mask seeing the picture on the sachet. The mask, like stated, is a clay-based mask. The mask is pale grey in color and has a creamy clay-like consistency. The smell is very pleasant and feels very fresh.

The mask is very easy to use and the application is very smooth. The mask has to be applied to the cleansed face and wait for 5-10 minutes and then washed off. The mask does dry out if you leave it for longer than 10 minutes. I picked this one up for its kaolin properties for healing my pimples. The product is claimed to have two white clays, Kaolin and Bentonite. The product is very easy to wash off too but since it is clay mask, I prefer to use a wet towel.

The face feels radiant once you wash off and there is an instant brightening glow on the face. The skin doesn’t feel dry, which is great as most of the clay masks do make the skin dry. The mask cleanses the face thoroughly and cleanses the pores from within. The skin feels extremely soft and smooth. The mask also tones the skin. The mask contains aloe vera and thus, it soothes the skin and also adds a bit of moisture. The product controls the oil and creates a matte finish. The product also controls the sebum production for more than 6 hours. The glow stays for a day approximately but the softness remains for around 3 days. The product is very gentle on the skin and doesn’t cause any irritation or redness on the face. The product does reduce the pimples too. My pimples and the inflammation was reduced in a day, which is a plus. My face felt squeaky clean and I am happy. There are no negatives I have to write about this product. So, summing up:
