Today, I am going to review my first product from Victoria’s Secret. One of my cousins got it two months back when she went for a world tour. I always crib that I don’t have any access to the brands which are not available in Punjab and I guess she remembered this cribbing of mine on her tour.

My Take on Victoria Secret’s Glossy Tint Lip Sheen in Knockout Red:

Victoria Secret’s Glossy Lip Tint Sheen comes in the same cute, chubby stick form like the famous Clinique Chubby Lip Balm and Revlon Just bitten Kissable balm stains. I guess every brand is desperate to launch these cute sticks. Lakme recently joined the race too with their Pop Tints.  The packaging is red in color with transparent cap. It has a shiny silver band near the tip and at the other end too.

Knockout Red is a true, deep red color without any shimmer at all. It has a hint of berry to it. The color is definitely bold but not extremely bright and won’t make you look odd. It is my first red but still I feel quite comfortable wearing it. The stick is prone to a bit of melting in this super hot climate. I think the quantity is less as compared to Revlon lip stains. Knockout Red will suit all skin tones well. It is a perfect color to brighten a dull face. It is a great choice for parties because of its boldness.

I found it to be extremely moisturizing, much more than the Revlon lip tints. As soon as I applied it on my lips, I wanted to swipe it again and again because of its moisturizing ability. It is a bit glossy and gives a wet look to the lips.  It feels very light on lips and is not at all sticky.

It glides on very smoothly and softly on lips and doesn’t settle into lines at all. This lip tint has great pigmentation, considering it is a lip tint. A single swipe is enough if you want a medium coverage and a tint on your lips. Two swipes are enough to cover the pigmentation of the lips completely. It stays on my lips for about 2-3 hours. The low staying power might be due to extremely thin and light texture.
