Today, I will be reviewing “Victoria’s Secret’s Beauty Rush Grapesicle Body Glimmer Wash. And now you might be wondering why is it called a “glimmer” wash? Because that’s what it is; it literally contains glitter in it! Now why would anyone rub glitter on their body? Read further to know why. So basically, Victoria’s Secret’s this Body Glimmer Wash comes in all six of the Beauty Rush body care scents namely Slice of Heaven, Strawberry Fizz, Appletini, Grapesicle, Grapefruit Blast and Passion Fruit Pop. Each scent has its own color coding throughout the product line out of which I already own products from Slice of Heaven and Strawberry Fizz range, so I wanted to give the grapesicle range a try.
It costs INR 1499 for 250 ml. Well, I bought it online, so got it at 30% discount *thumbs up to big fat sales*
Enjoy your bathing sessions with the rich lather and mesmerising fragrance of this “Beauty Rush Grapesicle Glimmer” body wash from Victoria’s Secret. Enriched with natural extracts, this body wash will keep your skin supple and silky smooth all day long.
My Experience with Victoria’s Secret Beauty Rush Grapesicle Body Glimmer Wash:
It comes in a handy bottle with a push-pop open dispenser. This body wash is dense and thick in consistency which leaves behind a sweet scent that lingers for quite a long time after the shower. It really is a buzz inducing body wash. The smell is a little bit intense in the beginning (but not intolerable or too intense), but fades away into a sweet grapesicle fragrance. This claims to be a vitamin-packed formula which gently cleanses the skin without stripping skin of natural moisture which is 1000% true. My skin feels supple and I will not say ‘glimmer-y’ but, yes, polished! Plus the best thing about it is that you only need a little bit of the product to lather it up.
Tip: I’d recommend using a loofah with the body wash because, why not? Every shower gel/ body wash results better with a loofah.
My story: So as soon as I bought this body wash, my sis was like ‘what if the glitter gets onto your skin?’ and I was devastated by this thought. And if you are thinking the same, then you need not worry because according to Google, it has some ingredients that appear shiny, but it’s not actually “glitter” and it doesn’t even stick to the skin *yay*
So, will I repurchase this? Absolutely yes, because I’m afraid my sis would use the whole thing up by herself, haha! But jokes apart, it is by far the best of all Victoria Secret beauty rush range I have tried.
