Hello Ladies,

Today, I am reviewing the Victoria’s Secret Beauty Rush Sparkle Gloss in the shade “Kiss of Luxury” (I’m not really sure). This was near the cash counter at the VS store and who can resist those tempting bins they have strategically placed near the cash register. So, I picked up this shade to add a little sparkle to my lips for the wedding season.

Product Details:

The dazzling gloss you know and love in a new, sleek tube covers lips in luxe color and spotlight-stealing shimmer. A grab-and-go makeup essential.  5.1 g/.18 oz.

Price:

$10 or 600 INR approximately.

Packaging:

The tube is a flat cylinder, not round. It could easily fit in your wallet or pocket without looking very odd and bulging out. The tube is transparent and shows the product inside. The cap is silver with the applicator which is slightly slanted, called the doe-foot lip gloss wand, for easy application.

The gloss has a slight scent to it, which I am not able to describe. It is not off putting, neither is it something I love, so I can just have it on without bothering me. Apparently, they have a different scent for different shades in the gloss range. It does taste good, slightly minty, but it is strange that the mint smell doesn’t appear in the fragrance.

The gloss itself is awesome. The golden color in the gloss is barely visible, only the glitter is prominent, so this can be applied over another lipstick. It is mostly sheer but buildable if you want the golden to pop. The consistency is not too runny, just enough to stay put on my lips. The gloss feels very good on the lips.

The gloss stays on the lips for about 3 hours maximum.  But then again I tend to lick it off or end up eating every time I put this on. So, I’m thinking this might stay on longer if someone would handle it better 😀

Pros of Victoria’s Secret Beauty Rush Sparkle Gloss:

• Feels good on the lips.

• Travel/wallet/pocket friendly packaging.
• Inexpensive.

Cons of Victoria’s Secret Beauty Rush Sparkle Gloss:

• Not a fan of the fragrance.

Didn’t reduce any points for the scent because I can stand it and it gradually fades away.

Final Verdict:

I would definitely purchase this again and also try more shades.
