Victoria’s Secret Coconut Milk Hydrating Body Lotion with Cotton Moisture Complex has been launched as part of Victoria’s Secret’s Coconut Milk four-step Ultimate Moisture System for nourished, touchable skin from head to toe. Victoria’s Secret has also launched an ultra-rich cream wash and body oil in the same range. Coconut milk has been an integral part of my hair and skin care routine since childhood; something I had inherited from my mother. It is a great powerhouse of nutrients and an excellent moisturizer in addition to its numerous other benefits. So, the mention of “coconut milk” was more than enough persuasion for me to grab the product at the store 🙂 The product also comes with infused goodness of “Cotton Moisture Complex,” which the brand claims to be an all-natural formula that includes cottonseed extract, nourishing white tea and vitamins A, C and E.

My Experience with Victoria’s Secret Coconut Milk Hydrating Body Lotion:

Packaging: The product comes in a translucent plastic bottle with embedded white stripes and a black pump cap that can be locked by turning to the sides. The packaging is very sturdy and leak proof, which makes it convenient to carry while travelling. I have carried it with me for about 4 road trips and it has never disappointed me. It can be a bit difficult to carry along on flights because of the product size; however, if weight is of no concern, it is extremely travel friendly because of the lockable cap. The product is also available in TSA approved 100 ml size packaging in case you want to carry around in flights.

Consistency:  It is a white creamy lotion with a sweet summary scent of coconut milk. The lotion has a smooth, non-greasy texture, and it spreads easily on the skin. Even though the consistency is thick, it gets absorbed into the skin without leaving any residue. The product is long lasting and it takes only a small amount for each use.

I normally apply this right after taking shower in the mornings and before going to bed. Once applied, it keeps my skin moisturized throughout the day without the need for reapplication. This comes as a blessing as I have very dry skin, especially on my legs that gets really flaky during winters.

Coming to the fragrance, it has a mild pleasing scent of sweet coconut milk. The scent is not overpowering and doesn’t interfere with the fragrance of perfumes or body mists. I love the fact that the fragrance matches that of natural coconut milk with no hint of a chemical smell. It kind of reminds me of home 🙂

I have been using it for the past two months and I absolutely love the product. It leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated with a mild soothing fragrance.
