Hello beautifuls!
Victoria’s Secret is famous for its fragrances, lingerie and models :D. Today’s product for review is Victoria’s Secret Color Shine Gloss in shade Love it. Let’s see how this one fared for me.

Victoria’s Secret Color Shine Gloss - Love It Review

Price: $6 for 2.8 gm

Product Description:
A new non-sticky, high-luster formula in the season’s most kiss-worthy colors developed for easy application and maximum irresistibility. Each purse deserves one.

My Experience with Victoria’s Secret Color Shine Lip Gloss – Love It:

It has regular lip gloss packaging with circular tube and doe foot applicator attached to the cap. There is no information about ingredients on the packaging or the website. The quantity provided is too good for the price. The packaging is sturdy and travel friendly.

gloss

The formula of the gloss is very creamy but somewhat sticky and not comfortable for my lips. The lip gloss glides on easily and feels light weight, but the sticky feeling is not very pleasant. It has a strong smell of raspberry, which is distracting but vanishes over an hour’s time period.

tube

Love it is a bright red shade, as seen in tube with a small amount of tiny sparkles for lustre and shine. Victoria’s Secret should rename the product as “shine shine” gloss rather than color shine, because there is no color payoff.

swatch

The pigmentation is average and the color doesn’t show up on my lips. The only finish I can see is profound lustre. Thankfully, it doesn’t come out as a shimmery gloss so I can at least finish it by using it as a top coat on red and pink matte lipsticks.

The formula is moisturising for lips but not long lasting. It doesn’t survive any snack, any meal or even regular fluid intake and transfers to the cutlery. However, it will be soothing for dry lips even when worn without lipstick. The high lustre is the only prominent feature in Victoria’s Secret Color Shine Gloss. I would have settled with everything if the shade was decently pigmented and had shown some color on my lips. I have pigmented lips; may be this works for natural baby pink and non-pigmented lips. For me, this proved to be a failure product.

Pros of Victoria’s Secret Color Shine Lip Gloss – Love It:

• Vibrant red shade with tiny sparkles.
• High lustre finish with no shimmery particles visible on lips.
• Definitely moisturising formula.
• Affordable price tag.
• Nice product for college-goers.
• Creamy formula is soothing for dry lips.

Cons of Victoria’s Secret Color Shine Lip Gloss – Love It:

• No clue about ingredients.
• Poor pigmentation with no color payoff.
• Not at all for pigmented lips.
• The raspberry smell is impediment for me.
• Not long lasting.
• Transfers to cutlery.
• Doesn’t survive even regular fluid intake; forget it will stay intact with snack or a meal.

IMBB Rating: 2/5

Would I Recommend/Repurchase Victoria’s Secret Color Shine Lip Gloss -Love It?
The rating speaks it all loud; I am not pleased with the product. I have already wasted my bucks over it and can’t think of repurchasing even in my wildest dreams. It can only be utilised as a top coat for matte lipsticks. I don’t recommend the product because most of the shades are not appealing and the range is a dud in terms of quality.
