I got quite a few scents from VS recently and since most of the fragrances are similar, I was cautious while picking them up. Summers are all about aqua and fresh scents, and I picked up this one just to experiment. I have never really been into aqua scents except for Davidoff Cool Water. So, let’s see how I liked this one.
Price:
$18 for 250 ml/Rs 1200 (I got it for at offer of 5 for 200 Dirhams which is equal to Rs 740 per bottle).

My Experience with Victoria’s Secret Dream Fragrance Mist:
Packaging: The new Victoria’s Secret mist looks a lot different than the usual signature style ones. This one comes in a fat round bottle in hot pink packaging with an ombre effect. It has a gold round cap which Victoria’s secret engraved over it. The bottle is loaded with the mist and I think the quantity is great for the price because just a little gets used for each time. It is a little heavy but handy as well. I wouldn’t mind carrying it around. The nozzle works very well too, so as far as the packaging is concerned, they nailed it! I haven’t seen more gorgeous bottles than the VS ones and that’s why I am big fan!
Fragrance: “Dream” is a very fresh, clean, and crisp scent. It is the perfect aqua and summery fragrance, smells of fresh icy marine crystals with little hints of peony. It has a floral touch too, but the aqua scent is more dominant. It has a very invigorating appeal the moment you spray on and will totally transfer you to a beach or a swimming pool. What I find very different in this scent is that it’s not sweet or overpowering like the other scents from this range. This is a crisp scent which screams only aqua. So, a very good one for daytime, but when it comes to my personal choice, I liked it the least (out of the 4 fragrances, Exotic, Romantic, Temptation) as I am more into sweet and girly scents.
Staying Power: The staying power of this mist is pretty average. It stays for somewhere around 3 hours and then it has to be applied again, but I think it might stay for around 4-5 hours by using other products from the same range together because that is usually the case with VS mists. But I really wish they stayed a little longer because these have been priced a little higher for a mist. But again, these mists are from Victoria’s Secret, people 😛 I don’t really mind using these mists, but some of you might not like the low staying power, but they do smell faintly for long, so that’s okay for me.
Pros of Victoria’s Secret Dream Fragrance Mist:
- Super gorgeous packaging, made of plastic, so does not break. The nozzle works perfectly fine.
- It smells of fresh icy blue marine crystals with faint hints of peony.
- Very romantic and feminine fragrance, good for romantic dates.
- Invigorates the senses.
- If you are a aqua scent lover, then you will surely like this fragrance.
- When layered with products from the same range, the fragrance would stay on for 4-5 hours.
- Great one for all round the year.
Cons of Victoria’s Secret Dream Fragrance Mist:
- You need to spritz it on every 3 hours.
- Limited availability in India.
- People who don’t like aqua and light fragrances won’t like this one.
Would I Repurchase Victoria’s Secret Romantic Fragrance Mist?
It is a really good one, but not just my cup of tea!

I’m a sucker for good aqua fragrances I wish these had better longevity.
Hi Saloni.These mists look amazing and are so apt for summers.I too dont like experimenting too much with my perfumes or mists.I too loveee Davidoff Cool Water and TBS body mists but I really want to try Victoria Secrets.Loved the packaging and you got them at a very reasonable price dear.
Hi, I have been thinking about trying this out. But I am picky with my perfumes. I like Pairs Hiltons, “Heiress” but that’s the only one by her i like. i like fruity, flirty scents. i don’t do musks or pachouli or jasmine. which one of these 4 scents would you suggest I try?? thanks so much!!
