How are you all doing? I am back with a new fragrance and its from Victoria’s Secret again.  From my posts, by now, you might have known how crazy I am about their fragrances 😛 Today, I am going to review an EDT from Victoria’s Secret named “Midnight Dare.” It was a gift actually from my cousin. She also knows about my craze for the VS fragrances. So, here I go with review.

Product Description:

With raspberry and sandalwood, a scent that is Seductive and alluring. The perfect finishing touch. Spray on for the scent that lingers.

My Take on Victoria’s Secret Midnight Dare Eau De Toilette:

Victoria’s Secret Midnight Dare comes in the transparent glass bottle with a gold cap. It’s a 30 ml bottle with a light pink colored potion inside. The bottle gives the fragrance a very classy and sophisticated look. Overall, the first impression of the bottle when one sees is good.

My Experience with Victoria’s Secret Midnight Dare Eau De Toilette:

This particular fragrance from VS is quite different from the regular ones. It’s not a fruity scent, but more of a floral fragrance, but you can say it’s kind of light muted, but a deep fragrance. It’s not an overpowering scent, it smells of berries at first, but then it turns more towards being a floral fragrance.  A few days back, I got a vanilla-scented candle from a store for my room and it wasn’t the fragrance which I was expecting. Honestly, this fragrance from VS reminds me of that vanilla candle; so maybe it’s a confused fragrance just like that vanilla candle.

The description of the product says that it has sandalwood in it, but I don’t think there is any fragrance of sandal in it, not a single trace, but to me, it smells more like camphor (though very lightly, but it does).  It has the raspberry fragrance and is lightly sweet. It is pure vanilla fragrance. The staying power is as usual, that is for 5 to 6 hours, but I don’t like this fragrance to be on for this much time also. Well, you would have noticed from this description that I am not a great fan of this particular fragrance. This is my first fragrance from VS brand, which I have not found so tempting, but yes, if you like vanilla fragrance, you can surely check this out. I am thinking of going for different options in VS fragrances.

Pros of Victoria’s Secret Midnight Dare Eau De Toilette:

• Nice and sophisticated packaging.
• Staying power.
• Very handy, easily fits into my bag.
• Travel friendly.
• The cap is tight doesn’t comes off easily.
• The color is appealing.

Cons of Victoria’s Secret Midnight Dare Eau De Toilette:

• I didn’t like the fragrance, not my kind of scent.  (You may like it if you are a vanilla lover), it smells like candle wax.

Will I Repurchase Victoria’s Secret Midnight Dare Eau De Toilette?

No, not this fragrance, but surely, will try newer fragrances from Victoria’s Secret.
