Victoria’s Secret Midnight Exotics Sensual Jasmine Fragrance Mist Review

On my last visit to a beauty store, I got 2 fragrances from VS to try out as they both looked totally my type. Here is the review for a very sensual scent, which I am in love with. I wonder why I haven’t tried this scent ever. But it’s never too late, so let’s hop on to the review.

My Experience with Victoria’s Secret Midnight Exotics Sensual Jasmine Fragrance Mist:

Starting with the packaging, you know how attractive and colourful these bottles look. But this bottle in particular looks sexy rather than cute. It perfectly resembles its name “Midnight Exotics Sensual Jasmine” as it comes with a sticker in deep midnight colours like blue and purple with some lace design on it. The cap comes in a shimmery gold colour and the combo just looks perfect and exotic. It looks very classy with gold and I love keeping it all decorated in my closet. Their mist comes in their signature style bottle, which looks like a flower vase. It is super handy and great to carry around, these are my best friends when I go out.

I always love smelling good and these help me a lot while I am travelling. The mist in particular does not have color; hence it goes all sheer. I got this because I have always been into daytime fragrances from Victoria’s secret like Amber Romance, Pear Glace and many more, but this looked very different from the regular VS mists. This scent is a very sensual, seductive and bold which opens with strong burst of fresh jasmine with lots of sweetness and hints of chamomile. Yes, the chamomile does give a touch of calmness to this exotic scent. I don’t know why but it does not smell very floral to me as I actually had thought that it would be more of a floral scent looking at the name.

It is a sweet scent which is a bit strong initially, but will then settle down to a very bearable smell. The scent, after a while, settles to a musky base which I love. I love to have all kinds of fragrances from VS, but this is one of its kind. I am really in love with this because it is awesome. It lasts on me for around 3 hours on my skin, and around 5-6 hours on my clothes. After 3 hours, the sillage is very low but I can easily smell this on my clothes. So I know that I am going to smell like a fresh, sensual jasmine all day long. The VS fragrances always last more on the clothes; I understood this fact the moment I tried this.

It might stay even better if the skin is topped up with a layer of the same range lotion. The sillage is powerful at the beginning, but vanishes after 25-30 minutes. Yet the smell is pretty much noticeable. This fragrance is very apt for evening wear and it won’t really complement us during daytime. It will surely bring a spark to date with your better half. The fragrance is very bold, seductive, sensual and flirty at the same time which makes it a total package.

I don’t know how but this one makes me feel very romantic, hence I always wear it when I go out with my boyfriend. This is totally perfect for someone who loves sweet fragrances. But women who don’t love sweet fragrances will surely like to stay away from it. But this is one of those scents from Victoria’s Secret which are not very overpowering. If you get to sniff this, you might just fall in love with this instantly. Also this can prove to be a great gift because not many women would dislike this scent.

• The packaging suits the name as it comes in a midnight purple and blue packaging with gold
• Handy bottle, so great for travelling
• Economical too as the bottle lasts a good amount of time
• The fragrance is a very sensual and romantic one with bursts of sweet jasmine and calming chamomile
• It feels very romantic and is apt for evening wear
• The scent is sweet and bold at the same time
• The fragrance isn’t very strong, but a little overpowering initially; it settles to a very musky scent though
• It stays for a good amount of time : 3 hours on my skin and 5-6 hours on the clothes
• The sillage is very powerful for the initial 30 minutes, and everyone around you can smell the alluring scent

Cons of Victoria’s Secret Midnight Exotics Sensual Jasmine Fragrance Mist:

• This is a VS scent which means it is sweet; hence not everyone might like it
• Limited availability in India
• It isn’t extremely floral, as the name suggests

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Victoria’s Secret Midnight Exotics Sensual Jasmine Fragrance Mist?
Yes I absolutely recommend trying this, and I will surely get this one again. If you are looking out for a sensual evening scent, then look no further.

Conclusion:
VS is the best brand if you want to experiment with different fragrances. I always fall short of words when I sniff these mists. They are my best buddies and I can’t imagine my life without these.
