I’m back with another review of a fragrance mist by Victoria’s Secret (I know, I know I’m obsessed with these). The mist I’m reviewing this time is Midnight Mimosa from the VS Fantasies collection. Everybody says this is a very powdery fragrance. Read on to find out how it fared for me.

How VS describes Midnight Mimosa: Refreshing formula is infused with conditioning Aloe Veraand calming Chamomile. Spray on for a touch of scent.

VS tips and tricks: for longer lasting fragrance, layer with VS Midnight Mimosa body wash gel and body lotion.

My take on Victoria’s Secret Midnight Mimosa fragrance mist:

Prior to Midnight Mimosa, all VS mists that I’d bought were very warm fragrances and excessively fruity and/or floral. So I thought I needed to give other types of fragrances a try too. I browsed the VS website for some different scents and found a couple that fit the requirements. This was one of them and luckily enough, I found this mist at the store where I usually buy VS mists.

The packaging of this mist is just like other Victoria’s Secret mists. Only this one comes in a lime green bottle. The mist inside is transparent. All in all, it’s got a very sturdy and secure packaging.I’d read a lot of review’s on VS mists where people said they smell like alcohol for a few seconds when they first spritz them. I’d never felt that with any of the mists that I used until now. But Midnight Mimosa does smell like alcohol for a couple seconds, though the alcohol smell goes away as quickly as it comes.
About Midnight Mimosa, a lot of people say that it smells excessively like baby powder. I infact found it a bit different. It does smell a little powdery but nothing overwhelming about it. To me, it smells more musky and a lot like lilies. This fragrance is really a different one. It’s floral, but in a very balanced way.I usually spritz it 6-7 times and this way, the fragrance lasts on me for 6 hours easily. In a nutshell, this is the perfect fragrance for spring time. 😀
