Today, I bring to you the review of another product from Victoria’s Secret. It is their Minty Shine Lip Gloss from Beauty Rush range. They were sailing along with the same lip products for a past couple of years, and now, they have relaunched their lip range which includes velvet mattes, metallics, lip plumper and flavored glosses. I have been using VS glosses since my college years. Read on to know how this one fared for me!

My Experience with Victoria’s Secret Minty Shine Lip Gloss:
Packaging: The packaging of this one is very basic. It’s a white plastic squeeze tube and you can easily locate it from your makeup stash when put together with other products. It comes with a silver screw cap. The brand name is mentioned on the top of the tube on a silver printed ribbon and Minty Shine is written all over the tube in huge font size. Packaging is travel-friendly and light. It can be easily carried around in a clutch or can be stashed in a makeup pouch. For the application, it comes with a slant plastic applicator which is standard for tube glosses. Recently, VS has relaunched its Beauty Rush range, and now, this gloss comes in a mint-green colored tube packaging.
As I mentioned earlier, I have been using these glosses since my college days. I have always been a fan of this range. They are easy on the pocket and are of amazing quality. Coming to its texture, it is thick and may feel a bit sticky. Earlier, when I was only using glosses, I never felt it was sticky but these days I am more of a matte lipstick person, so when I wore it the other day, I felt it was sticky and it was a bit uncomfortable. So, this might be the case with most of us. As the name suggests, minty shine lip gloss, this one is mint flavored and tastes a little bit sweet, which I like. It gives a tingling sensation on the lips due to the peppermint oil present in it.
Coming to its color, it has no color at all. It does not have any shimmer particles and appears clear shiny on the lips. As for the staying ability, it does not last long; if you eat or drink, it transfers and fades away. It does have a light vanilla fragrance which fades quickly after the application. I recommend using it during the daytime in summers, as I follow the same.
