I had reviewed one of the body butters from VS which was really good for hydration as well as non-slimy. The body mist has already been reviewed on IMBB. I had ordered these online sometime back with a host of other products and I was mighty impressed by the way it was shipped taking exclusive care so that not even a single product gets damages during transit…this is what I call quality service *happydance*

My Experience with Victoria’s Secret Moonlight Dream Deep Softening Body Butter:
I had good experience with most products from this brand…they are a bit on the higher end side but they deliver quality. I have used up the Sparkling Citrus butter already and my overall experience with that was incredible. This is another one from the VS fantasies range which comes in a light purple tub with an orange-golden shimmery cap and there is an inner protective lid to prevent any spilling. I had ordered these from the Victoria’s Secret website and the way it was sent was impressive with each product in a single zip lock bag with bubble wrap. Now coming to the body butter, it’s very similar in texture to the Citrus one but has a different fragrance note as well as the color is pale purple just like the tub…I love this idea of colored body butters, it make the whole moisturizing process so very interesting. There are quite a few brands of body butters that I have used but one common property that most have is sitting on top of your skin…I hate them, this one defies that rule and is almost non-greasy to an extent that even if you apply too much it still won’t feel oily and sticky. The fragrance is very mild and non-annoying, it stays on the skin for about 2-3 hrs. and fades off. It feels like a tub of luxury for me after showers and on days where I use body scrubs it absorbs even better. I don’t feel like reaching out for any moisturizer till my next shower as this one keeps me hydrated well enough till the next day. One most important property that I’ve noticed in these Victoria’s Secret Body butters is that they are very creamy yet they don’t leave a whitish cast sort of mark while you are rubbing it on your skin…I tend to throw away those sort of creams 😀
There are a lot of fragrances to choose from these body butters and it’s quite likely that you would find one that you’ll end up loving. If you have an oily skin you could try their lotions and just to have an experience of the fragrance you could try the body was or scrub or even mist…I have been bowled over by all the products and would stock up.
