Did I just hear an Ooooh! and an Aaaaah! upon reading the magic words Victoria’s Secret? I bet I did because something’s seriously wrong if I didn’t.  Does this brand need any introduction my gorgeous fashionistas and beautyholics? Those lucky ones who have had the chance to walk into one of their exclusive outlets will know how enthralling the whole experience is. It’s not just a brand to be reckoned with but an empire that makes us ladies go weak in the knees and it’s what Cadbury’s World is to children; once entered, you need to be dragged out!

This was the case on my last visit to one of their outlets in NYC and I was with a dear friend who lives in New Jersey and decided to take me around the city. Of my many things to do, a trip to VS was at the top of my bottom-less list. My friend, not being the into-too-much-beauty kinda girl, gave me a raised eyebrow, laughed and kindly gave in. I was a kid in a candy shop and didn’t know where to begin. Left to my own devices, I would have taken selfies against every shelf displaying their fantastic and much-sought after products. Like any female would, I touched, sampled, smelt and sighed my way through the entire store picking up things I wanted to bring back home to Delhi. What was the funniest, was that after almost 45 minutes in the store, my friend literally had to drag me out and even whilst standing at the counter to pay, I was still picking up some hand-sized products and trying my up most best to avoid the glares I was getting from her. I managed to pick up some stunning fragranced creams, lotions, perfumes and mists. Let’s not even talk about their lingerie!

Anyway, seeing my fascination for VS, my friend who was planning to buy a gift before I left for Delhi, decided to buy me something from VS saying that I had made her choice so much easier and she bought me this bright pink makeup pouch which has Kiss and Makeup written on it 😉 One of the products I wanted to review is their Hand and Body cream from their signature PINK collection called Warm and Cozy. I picked up the travel size as I wanted it to be apt for my handbag to use on a daily basis.

Product Description:

On-the-go TLC for your hands and body. This nourishing cream in a cute mini size from our PINK collection gives your skin an extra boost of moisture. This cream treats skin with our super-softening cotton complex and a healthy combo and vitamins C and E, and leaves a subtle scent of toasted vanilla and peony.

Comes in a plastic candy pink tube and just looks fab! VS packaging…need I say more!

My Experience with Victoria’s Secret Pink Warm and Cozy Hand and Body Cream:

As the product suggests, it lives up to its name and smells divine. The warm sugary toasted vanilla amalgamated with peony flowers is so appropriate for the winters. The texture is not too thick and not runny but just right in terms of hand creams as you would want it to dissolve quickly in your hands without leaving an oily residue. It feels rich and creamy and absorbs very well into the skin and we all know what wonders vitamin E and C does, so go figure!

I have a tendency to touch my face and hair a lot, so greasy hands are a no-no for me and this hand cream is perfect. The fragrance I guess is its USP and lasts for a good amount of time. I love having my hands moisturized as dry hands are so ugly, but also have them smell absolutely heavenly and this product does just that. As it serves also as a body cream, you can rub some on your arms, elbows and knees when on the go if you need to moisturize any dry areas. After dissolving into the skin, there are no tell-tale signs other than glowing supple looking skin and smells VS sexy!

• You wouldn’t want to touch anything after using this or refrain from shaking people’s hands as you will fall in love with your hands so much.  I have used some right now whilst writing this review and smelt my hands ten times already…such a distraction! 😉

Conclusion:

So of all the hand creams I have used till date, this is one of my favourites, hands down. So if Gabbar Singh says to me, “Yeh haath humko dede Mimosa?” I’m sure going to squeal Nahiiiiiiiiii! 😛 😛
