I have an affinity towards body care products, especially when they offer the combined benefits of body wash and scrub as they save time and energy. Many women take extreme care of the facial skin while focus very little on the other prominent parts of the body like hands, feet and back. I have a great love for most Victoria’s Secret body care products as they are of really good quality and come with innovative fragrances. I am talking about my first ever body wash-cum-scrub in this review. I have been using it for a while now, and here are my thoughts on the same.
Price and Quantity: $18 for 300 ml
This foaming, skin-polishing scrub makes skin twice as nice with a healthy combo of Vitamins E and C that nourishes as you cleanse.
Fragrance type: Warm
Toasted vanilla and peony
The Victoria’s Secret Pink Warm and Cozy 2-in-1 Wash and Scrub comes in a huge tube that has a screw top cap in frosted silver. The tube is plastic, but opaque, so I can see how much of the product is remaining. The lid closes tightly, which prevents the product from drying and spilling. It’s quite travel-friendly despite its bulkiness; although I don’t prefer to carry such a heavy tube.
This Victoria’s Secret Pink Warm and Cozy 2-in-1 Wash and Scrub has a warm smell with the opening notes of vanilla and peony. The overwhelming fragrance lasts for about 1 hour with strong notes of peony.
This body scrub has a gooey texture with micro beads and fine sugar. It lathers when used with a loofah. I, personally, prefer to use it as a body wash, although it exfoliates my skin after rubbing it all over my body.
My Experience with Victoria’s Secret Pink Warm and Cozy 2-in-1 Wash and Scrub:
It comes in a plastic candy pink tube and just looks fab! Overall, the packaging is nice and sturdy, but this is a huge and bulky bottle, which is not easy to carry around. This is the only product that lathers, even after having a granular texture, which is why I love it.
The consistency of the scrub is lovely. The gel base makes it a beautifully-textured scrub. You might feel it is a regular scrub, but once you start massaging it into damp skin, you can feel the heavy-duty granules, which do not feel scratchy or harsh.
The price is a little high, but then you can skip body wash after using this. So for me that justifies its price. The fragrance lasts for about one hour on me. It provides the exact exfoliation which my skin needs, contains just enough granules and has the correct texture. The sugar granules melt away and are easy to wash off.
Pros of Victoria’s Secret Pink Warm and Cozy 2-in-1 Wash and Scrub:
• The outer packaging is cute.
• Suits sensitive skin.
• Smells fresh and soothing.
• Gently exfoliates the skin.
• Contains vitamins E and C.
• Strong notes of vanilla.
Cons of Victoria’s Secret Pink Warm and Cozy 2-in-1 Wash and Scrub:
• Availability issues.
• Heavy packaging.
• Doesn’t really soften the skin.
IMBB Rating: 4.3/5
