Victoria’s Secret Pure Seduction Hydrating Body Lotion – Provides Up To 8 Hours of Moisture!
Today, I am going to review a product that made the little girl inside me scream! The first time I saw this, I was in a loop. All I could think of was “Pink Body Lotion! Pink Body Lotion! Pink Body Lotion!” My best purchase from Victoria’s Secret, I present to you, the star of this review – Victoria’s Secret Pure Seduction Hydrating Body Lotion! This is by far the best fragrance from Victoria’s Secret for me. I’m head over heels in love with it and you should be too. Why? Read on!
14 USD for 250 ml.
Victoria’s Secret changed the design on a few of its body lotions and I’m glad they did. This body lotion comes in the prettiest pink bottle with a gold lid. The freesia flower petals on the bottle look luxurious. The packaging is spill-proof, thus travel friendly. It also makes it very easy and hygienic to use the lotion. The lotion is baby pink in color, that’s pretty much where I fell for it.
Now, I own a few other fragrances that aren’t as precious as this one to me and that’s because this lotion smells heavenly. I save it for when I want to smell extra good. I also noticed that this fragrance is stronger than the rest of the lotions I own. The floral freesia smell dominates the red plum, but it is a great scent. I was complimented every time I had it on.
I made a recent discovery about this lotion. After when I put it on to click a picture for a swatch, I went to wash my hands. After washing them with soap, I was tying my hair up, when I noticed that I could still smell the fragrance of the lotion. The smell does linger for quite a bit. I was delighted.
When it comes to moisturizing, it does quite well. My skin feels soft and supple after I use this. The consistency of the lotion is great and so easily massage-able. I do need to use more of this because my skin literally drinks up the lotion. The moisture lasts for about 8 hours on your skin. After 8 hours, your skin will not look dry, but it is best to re-apply, especially in winters.
This is not an everyday fragrance for me. The smell is too strong and overpowering for everyday use, and I noticed that it contains parabens 🙁 I know the other lotions from VS have parabens too, but I’m not really conscious about parabens in body lotions (for some weird reason).
This still remains my favorite “special occasion” lotion. I’m not really in to perfumes; this is the best substitute because it smells just as strong and beautiful.
The bottle will last me around a year because I use it quite less, but if you use it both morning and night (fan of strong fragrances? Go for it!) it will probably last you 3 months.
